A river was flowing in the eastern part of India, but Akashi did not stop there. It kept running like a land on the river, for a moment the king felt that he would drown but he was surprised to see Akashi walking on water. Akashi made a halt by crossing the river.Chandrabhan - " You can walk on water, amazing"
Akashi - "Every Prakashashwa has some special qualities, you will know with time. Now you relax, Harit will be somewhere here, you will automatically see him when the time comes. "
The king spent the night under a tree, retired from routine work in the morning and went to seek food and in search of Harit too. There was no shortage of juicy sweet fruits in this forest, nor of various animals and plants. After taking food he took information about the surrounding area. This time he did not tie Harit to the tree so that it does not get into trouble like Neelabh. The speed of the Prakashashwas was so fast that no one could catch them. But they were solid, they would not be able to escape and could not defend themselves if they were tied up.
"Their speed is the only way to protect them," Thought the king. Walking through the forest, he saw a huge door behind a herd of vines.
After removing the vines, he reached a huge gate. This gate was very high. As high as twenty elephants, one placed on top of the other. There was a wall surrounding the city which went far away, this wall was higher than the gate. The vines on this wall were raised in such a way that they almost covered it. The king knocked on the door but got no reply.Chandrabhan pushed and opened the door with a little effort. The view from the inside was surprising. The greenery was absent within the city. Not even a grass was found on the ground. What to say of humans, and insects would not even settle here. The city must have been prosperous in some era, but today signs of inauspiciousness are seen all around. Houses, shops and roads were deserted. If the city was there, then he proceeded considering that the palace would also be there. His thinking was right, he saw a grand fort a short distance away. There was a deep moat around the fort. Which must have been filled with water at some time, but at this time it was empty. There was a bridge to cross the moat which could be closed by pulling it up with the help of ropes. At that time the bridge was open. While touring the fort, he realized its grandeur.
There were many rooms here, but all were deserted at this time one could explain the plight of this beautiful state. After all, in a chamber that was very large and looked like a court, Chandrabhan saw a person sitting on a grand throne. He kept his head tilted so much that his chin rested on his chest, he placed his hands on both sides of the throne. Chandrabhan felt that he was probably sleeping. He was a very old man with royal clothing and a crown adorned on his head, he seemed to be the king. He had long hair spread over his shoulder, he was a living example of despair.
Moving towards him Chandrabhan felt that, he might not have realized Chandrabhan's presence there. But as soon as he got close to that old man, he raised his head and saw him in such a way as if he already had the feeling of Chandrabhan's presence there.
Chandrabhan- "Your majesty, I, Chandrabhan, King of Udaipur bow to you. "
Old Man - "Welcome! Dear friend, After years a guest has come here, but I apologize I am unable to serve your hospitality. I am Virbhadra, the king of this cursed kingdom, called Nandanpur. "He said so politely mixed with modesty that Chandrabhan got overwhelmed.
Chandrabhan - " No need to be formal, I can take care of myself. I want to know how did this happen to your state? This curiosity is killing me. "
Smiling Virbhadra indicated to sit on a pedestal kept close to him, how painful was this smile on that wrinkled face?
Veerabhadra - "Nandanpur was once a very happy and prosperous land. At that time my father Virendra Pratap used to rule here. He was an ideal king and the people respected him like his father and he cared for his subjects as children. My mother Queen Vidyavati died when giving birth to me. When I grew up, I got a bunch of sycophants around me, who would praise and encourage me even on my wrong talk.Over time, I became arrogant, vicious, ruthless and autocratic. My father tried to convince me but I did not improve. I was proud of my money and power. One day I severely punished my servant for a small mistake that caused him to get seriously injured. When the matter reached my father, he was angry and ordered me to serve the servant until he was healthy.
