I was asleep until I heard my mom knock on my room door and call my name, telling me to wake up. I pleaded for five more minutes, but she said, "No, Y/N, wake up. Today is Friday, and it's a special day for me." I got out of bed and opened the door. "What's today?" I asked. "You'll see when you get home from school, darling," she said. "But for now, go get ready, okay?" I went to the bathroom, took a nice bath, and got dressed. I packed several changes of clothes in my backpack because I didn't know what I would need. I went downstairs to find my mom and dad drinking coffee. "Good morning, Father," I said, skipping around him to sit opposite him. "Good morning, sweetheart. How did you sleep?" "Like a baby," I said. "As always," he said. I laughed a little and ate breakfast. After saying goodbye to my parents, I got in my car and drove to school.
