𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨 : 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚
"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲?" Bonnie asked Will as she adjusted his armor for him.
"Of course, you know I'm the best at Capture the Flag," Will remarked, winking at the girl.
"I don't know, Aureliano is really good," Bonnie replied. Will frowned at his best friend. Him and Bonnie had been close for awhile, and he started to develop feelings for her. It's just Bonnie didn't know. So now their day would consist of Will obviously flirting and Bonnie being blind to his love. The two best friends watched as groups of kids started approaching the field. One of these groups were Andromeda and Aureliano. The two were gossiping about something Bonnie couldn't make out. Will groaned when he recognized Gavin, Ezra, and Anthea. He didn't hate Anthea or Ezra, but he despised Gavin. He believed that the guy was just too quiet. Nothing to say.
"So, like I was saying-" Andromeda went head first into Ezra, causing the two to stumble back.
"Good grief," Anthea mumbled, knowing that Ezra and Andromeda were enemies.
"Get outta my way, Hypnos kid," Andromeda muttered.
"Hey, stop messing with my half brother!" Bonnie exclaimed, approaching the scene. Will followed after her. Anthea saw Will and smirked at him, causing Will to look at her confused. Gavin held in a laugh.
"Hey, I don't wanna start anything-"
"You kinda did start something-" Aureliano sighed and walked over to Gavin.
"It's like dealing with toddlers keeping them in control," Aureliano joked. Gavin smiled lightly. "Hey, I have never seen you around camp. You new?"
"I've been here for 3 years..." Aureliano covered her face in embarrassment.
"Oh my gods, I'm sorry, I'm so stupid," Aureliano apologized, turning quickly to make sure that Andromeda and Ezra weren't getting into a fist fight yet.
"It's fine," Gavin replied, "I wonder how they are enemies, they both seem like people pleasers." Aureliano agreed by nodding her head, turning around when Chiron raised his voice at the camp.
"Alright, so the first team to get the opponent's flag across the river will win. No maiming and no killing, got it Avani?" Chiron announced, targeting Avani Kumar with his last statement. "Any magic items you have are permitted." Chiron kept talking as Gavin ran to the other side. The teams were split differently due to campers leaving. Now, the teams were Dionysius, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hephaestus, Hypnos, Styx, Athena, and Aurora. The other team was Ares, Keto, Demeter, Nike, Nemesis, Morpheus, Apollo, and Iris. Since Gavin was always shoved into the Apollo cabin, whenever there was an activity that Apollo kids took part in, he would be dragged along. Of course Will Solace made it better, but usually Gavin despised it.
"Ready? Let the games begin!" Chiron expressed, a conch being blown. Campers roared and cheered as Gavin took a deep breath. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

Amets Kamaka'ewa Ho'ohekiki groaned as he walked with Sullivan Crosby, mainly known as Sully. They dragged their sword as the two demigods searched for the opposing team.
"I hate capture the flag sometimes, especially when they suddenly change the teams," Amets grumbled, not wanting to talk to anyone.
"Of course, everyone wants to be here!" Sully said using a sarcastic tone of voice. Amets was a quiet guy, not usually talking to people. His only exception was talking to the younger campers. To Sully's surprise, Amets wanted to walk in the forest with him in search for some Athena camper to try to trick them. The two saw a group of young girls dash past them, noticing Lavender. She looked concerned, but they tried to shrug it off.
Meanwhile, Aureliano's sword clashed with Lillia Sinclair's as the two intensely battled. Lillia's sword fell to the ground and Lillia surrendered. Avani glared at Lillia, who was in a ball on the ground.
"Of course you helped us lose, nice work!" Avani insulted. She slid her helmet off as she watched Aureliano leave the scene.
"So everything is my fault, all the time?" Lillia muttered.
"Was it my fault that you lied to me?" Avani criticized.
"Was it my fault that you cheated me out?" The two grew silent as the opposing team tiptoed away from the scene, not wanting to ballte the exes. Lillia and Avani used to date. They were Camp Half Blood's favorite coupe. That was until some form of drama occurred that only the two know about. Of course, there are rumors such as Avani got jealous of Lillia and another guy talking and pushed him off. Another was that Lillia cheated on Avani with Clarisse. Obviously, this was false information.
"Can you guys do less fighting and more talking? I don't wanna hear it anymore," Clarisse said, walking beside another Ares kid. "We need some people by the lake, Aureliano, Noelle, and some Aphrodite chick are pretty damn close to the flag!" Clarisse untagged the fighting girls and ran with them down to the lake, where Aureliano had the flag. Noelle was fighting Sully, and Clarisse ran to step in and help. Aureliano tried to run, but Rayne's rainbow tried to block her. Aureliano stuck out her free hand and used her chlorokinesis powers to strangle the colorful rainbow. The rainbow was soon tied into knots, looking depressed. Rayne gasped as she saw this. Noelle watched as Clarisse screamed louder than the game with Percy Jackson and Serena Lee. Aureliano got the flag, and she was proud of it.
