𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 : 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞
𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝 out on a blanket while looking at the beautiful stars. It was around 10 pm, and Chiron gave the two a pass to be out late due to good behavior. Noelle was inside her cabin, practicing piano. Andromeda was having a girl's night with Rayne, Lyla, and Anthea. Ezra was just asleep like a normal Hypnos kid. A patterned blanket was under the two best friends as they talked about life and what not. The sounds of crickets chirping made everything seem more comforting in a way.
"So, how's your sister?" Bonnie asked, taking a bite of a freshly picked strawberry.
"She's doing alright. It's just been hard for her ever since Lavender disappeared. She told me that there weren't any signs that she was going to leave," Will explained. The two sighed. It was true. Lyla was struggling. Isabella left for the summer, Lavender was gone, and Izara went on the quest with the other 6. Lyla only had the older girls to hang out with, but she didn't want to eat up all of their time. Bonnie felt bad for her.
"I hope she feels better once Izara comes back from her quest with Lavender," Bonnie sighed.
"Agreed." The two sat in silence for a minute, watching the stars again. It was getting late, and Bonnie felt tired.
"I think I'm going to go," Bonnie said, starting to stand up and leave.
"Please don't," Will mumbled, grabbing her arm to try to get her back. Bonnie rolled her eyes and sat back down. Will sat up to face her.
"Bonnie, I need to tell you something." Bonnie abruptly turned her head to her best friend.
"What's up?" Will was silent for a moment before he leaned in to kiss Bonnie. She was pleasantly surprised and kissed him. They stayed like that for a couple of seconds until they released. Bonnie fidgeted with her fingers.
"Are you okay?" Will asked. No response from her. He gently lifted her head up to his level.
"Come on, smile my love." Bonnie couldn't help but smiling at him.
"It's just I feel a little awkward," Bonnie replied.
"Don't be. It's clearly meant to be, or else this wouldn't have happened. Now c'mon, let's take you back to your cabin before Ezra kills me," Will joked, standing up. The two folded the picnic blanket and took the bag full of strawberries. They walked back to the Hypnos cabin to get Bonnie home.

"No, we should play Truth or Dare!"
"Personally, I think we should try to Iris message the quest goers!" Finally, one request Noelle could agree with. Once she was finished with her piano practice, Anthea saw her walking by a bush and practically forced the girl to come in and hang out. Noelle only agreed to 30 minutes. She checked the clock. It had only been 2 and a half minutes.
While Noelle was doing all of this intense thinking, she saw Aureliano and Izara on the screen.
"Oh my gods!" Lyla exclaimed. She hadn't seen Izara in what felt like years.
"Hi Lyla, I miss you!" Izara responded. "Hey Aphrodite cabin!"
"Hey!" Anthea screamed. Andromeda waved to Izara.
"Hey, is Rayne on the screen?" A voice called, coming into the frame. It was Baek.
"No, but we have Andromeda, Anthea, and Noelle. Rayne is grabbing something to drink," Lyla explained. Andromeda and Anthea were gossiping in the corner, so the only other person left was Noelle.
"Hello!" Baek exclaimed. Noelle huffed.
"Hi, I guess."
"You guess? You're talking to me, so there is no 'I guess,'" Baek groaned.
"I would hit you if you were right here," Noelle threatened.
"No you wouldn't. You love me," Baek joked.
"Okay, break it up here," Rayne grumbled. She walked to the screen to talk to Baek. "Hello Baek, how's the quest?"
"Pretty simple so far, just a little nerve-wrecking," Baek explained.
"Don't worry, you got this. Anyway-"
"Guys! Guys!" The door to Aphrodite's cabin opened. Will ran in and sat next to his younger sister.
"What?" Anthea asked.
"I did it! I finally kissed Bonnie!" Will exclaimed. Lyla and Andromeda screamed. Aureliano and Baek's eyes widened, and Rayne smiled at him. He was happy, and that was all that mattered.
