Each others Support system

How can this happen?

They are going to talk to Tamara in the morning. They woke up, showered together and than got ready. Tim made his delicious pancakes. Lucy woke Tamara up for breakfast. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday.
Tam- hey guys what's up?
L- sit down we made you some pancakes.
T- Luce it think you are scaring Tamara a bit.
Tam- yea what is going on.
L- here we have something for you.
Tamara opened her present. She grabbed the romper and pink bow out of the bag.
Tam- omg are you pregnant!!!
L- yes we are. And you will have a little sister.
T- and i think you will be a great big sister.
Tam- I'm so happy for you guys. How far along are you?
L- I think I'm 3 months now. So I won't pop before the wedding.
T- ye the wedding, I kind of forgot about it because of the whole baby.
L- I get it.

A few months later. The wedding is today. They were finally going to be married. Lucy is now 5 months pregnant. She had beautiful baby bump. They were about to leave to the venue. To make everything ready. When Tim got a call from the venue. Saying there was a mistake and they had the Bradford wedding tomorrow.
T- what are we doing now? We don't have a venue.
L- oh no this stresses me out.
T- easy I will make it work. You just take it easy momma.
L- okay baby thank you.
G- wait I know where we can do the wedding. It maybe isn't the ideal wedding venue.
T- it doesn't matter where I marry this woman. I can't wait to marry here. So spill.
G- why not at the station?
L- that is a perfect idea. Were it all began.
T- yes perfect. We have a small wedding so it would fit. This perfect. Thank you wade.

They moved everything to the station. And started to put everything for the wedding in the roll call room. After everything was done. Lucy walked down the aisle. They said their vows. And are now officially married.
A- oh I love them. You know they wouldn't be together if it wasn't for me.
W- and why is that honey?
A- Tim need a little notch form his best friend to express his feelings to Lucy.
W- okay but it would eventually happen even without your notch.
A- i mean yes, but we are just saying that this was my doing okay. Except of course when they are getting a divorce. But I don't think that will happen.
W- yes I don't think so either.

After they danced all night and had a beautiful wedding at the place were it all began. They went home. Lucy and Tim were so tired they immediately fell asleep in each other's arms. The next day the couple was going on their honeymoon to Italy.

They explored Italy. They went to Milan, Florence, Rome and Naples. They enjoyed the delicious food and had amazing sex. After 3 weeks of Italy they had to go back. But when they came back. Lucy had her maternity leave. So she didn't have to go back to work. But Tim on the other hand had to work just for a few weeks. They were so excited for the baby to arrive.

Tim went on patrol that day. He was chasing down a suspect. He made a sharp turn and crashed the car. He was still unconscious. He woke up in pain.
T- 7-a-100 shop had crashed. Need an ambulance stat. Officer down. Suspect is still on the run.

A few minutes later Tim heard sirens. He saw Bailey approaching him. He said where he thought he was wounded and after that it went black. They had him transferred to the ambulance and they soon arrived at the hospital. Angela went with him in the ambulance. He was conscious for a bit.
T- don't tell Lucy anything for now. I don't want to worry her just yet.
A- but it doesn't look good tim.
T- doesn't matter just don't tell Lucy.
And he was unconscious again. But his heart rate started to go crazy.

Everyone form their station family was waiting in the waiting room.
G- has Lucy been updated about Tim's condition.
A- no she doesn't know yet.
G- what why not.
A- Tim asked me to. Because he didn't want to worry her.
L- to late. He really didn't think I wouldn't find out. I'm his emergency contact.
She waddled the waiting room in. She was now more than 6 months pregnant.
L- is there an update?
A- still nothing.
There was the doctor of Tim. Lucy immediately asked him about Tim.
D- are you Mrs Bradford?
L- yes I am. Please tell me about the condition my husband is in. Now!
D- yes uhm surgery went well. But he uhm-
L- what he what?
D- he is in a coma. Because of the damage there was. We don't know for how long. He crashed pretty hard. You can go and see him in a bit. I will have a nurse call you when he is settled in his room.
Lucy couldn't say anything. Her husband and soon to be father of their baby. Is in a coma for I don't know how long.
A- yes thank you doctor. Lucy please sit with us for a moment.
Lucy sat down and started sobbing. Angela was there to comfort her. After a while a nurse came to collect Lucy. To show her to his room. When she walked in to the room Lucy fell to the ground because of how he looked. Angela was with her and comforted her. Lucy went and sat down on the chair next to the bed. She grabbed Tim's hand.
L- please Tim, I need you our baby needs you.
A- I will leave you alone for a bit. Do you need anything to drink?
L- could you please just get me some tea.
A- yes sure I will be right back.
Lucy went and laid her head down on his bed. When Angela came back Lucy was asleep. Angela asked a nurse if she could get a blanket. Angela went back to the hallway. To call Tamara.
Tam- hey Angela is something wrong?
A- yes I'm sorry Tamara.
Tam- what, what's wrong. Who is hurt. It can't be Lucy right. She is at home.
A- Tim had a severe car crash. He is in a coma now.
Tam- what how did that happen. I'm coming to the hospital now. Is Lucy already there?
A- yes Lucy is here. She is now sleeping.
Tam- omg I can't lose him now. He is like a father to me.
A- I know Tamara. But he won't die. Just not yet. Be before you come to the hospital can you get some stuff from the house. For Lucy and Tim. I don't think Lucy will leave him.
Tam- yea sure i will grab some stuff. And than I'm on my way.
A- okay see you soon.

L- was that Tamara?
A- yes I called her. She is coming to the hospital. And she will bring some clothes for you and Tim. Because I know you won't leave him.
L- damn right. I don't think I can ever leave him alone without him being in trouble.
They both chuckled.

It was now two months later. He was still not awake. Lucy did went home in the nights to sleep. Because sleeping on a chair isn't comfortable especially when you are 37 weeks pregnant. It was almost time to pop that baby out. She had hoped he was awake by than. But still no progress. Tamara came to keep Lucy company from time to time. She still had school so it wouldn't be everyday. Lucy sat down next to him with his hand in hers.
L- hey honey, it is almost time to really meet our little princess. I hope you are awake when she comes.
She than felt him squeeze her hand. She stumbled because he squeezed her hand. And immediately called a doctor.
L- hey please someone. He squeezed my hand. That is good right.
But when Lucy looked away for a second the machines were going of like crazy. The room immediately was filled with a doctor and a lot of nurses. Lucy had to get of the room. Because of this stress her water just broke.
L- uhm nurse could you maybe get me a wheelchair?
N- uh ohhh oh okay. I need some assistance here. This woman is going in to labor.
