As soon as I walked into my bedroom my phone went off.
"Hello,"I said as I changed.
"Hey Allayah,just checking to see if your home safe,"Jeremiah said.
"Yeah.Yeah Im home safe.You?"I said as I sat down on the bed with the phone on speaker.
"Yeah we are home now.The girls are in their room.Thank You for doing this for the girls today.They really enjoyed their selves."
"Yeah.Im glad I could see them again,"I said as I remembered how well our day was.
There was silence for a bit on the call.But I knoew he was there.
"Allayah?"Jeremiah said
"Yeah?"
"Can we go by the park tomorrow?Just me and you to catch up a bit."
Is he asking me on a date?I dont think so.Would he?
"Allayah ?"
"Huh?"
"Im sorry if it caught you by surprise its just that your a really wonderful woman and your very caring and the girls they love you alot which make me.....I find you interesting. And I would like to know you more if its okay with you,"he said out.
"Yeah.Thats ....Thats okay with me and yes I can go with you tomorrow."
"Thank God,"he whispered.
"Where would the girls be?"I asked.
"Ill ask Rayan to keep them until im back."
"Okay umm..Have a good night and rest well."
"Like wise Allayah."
"And Jeremiah.."
"Yeah?"
"Call me if the girls need anything."
"Okay,Thanks."
"Bye."
And that was our call.Is this classified as a date or what because im not sure.I went into bed watched a few episodes on Netflix then went to sleep.
Jeremiah's Pov
I finally asked her out.I hope this goes well.
I havent known Allayah for long but Ive known her long enough to see that shes an awesome human being.Ive never met someone so sweet and loving to my girls. Shes always been helpful with them and thats something that sticks out to me about her.She supports my girls in ways that I just cant,especially Alexia.
I like having her around.Her voice and presence refreshes the room.She is just different and I like that.
What is she doing to me?I dont know but I kinda like the feeling.
Im gonna call Rayan to watch the girls tomorrow.
"Jeremiah how is my nieces?" Rayan said on the phone.
"Hey to you too Bro.And they are in their rooms.Most likely sleeping by now."
"So fast,its just 6:40 pm,"he said over the phone.
"I know.We were out all day with Allayah and we just came back,"I said smiling as I remembered how I enjoyed her company.
"Oooo.You didn't tell me yall were together,"Rayan said in disbelief.
"We are not together. The girls were dying to see her after so long so we met at the mall."
"Oh well.How was it?"he asked from curiosity.
"It was good.The girls enjoyed her company.,"I said smiling.
"Did you?"Rayan asked.
"Yeah I certainly did.Thats why I called you.Can you watch the girls for me tomorrow?I asked Allayah out."
"You did?"he asked shocked."Finally, took you long enough "he said as he chuckled.
"Yeah,so thats a yes?"
"Of course I can keep my niece .But we'll be out though because im taking out my girls for the day. "
"Okay thats fine with me."
"Yeah bye,"he said.
"Bye."
So tomorrow it is.
I showered then went to bed thinking of how im gonna do tomorrow.
...................The next day........................
I woke up to the sound of my alarm .I stretched over to see that its 8:00 am .I have to wake the girls.
I hopped out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. After doing whatever I mad my way downstairs to make breakfast. Ill just do something simple for today. As the sausages were frying I quickly ran upstairs and woke up the girls.
"Wakie Wakie sleeping beauties ,"I said shaking them gently.
"Daddy ,5 more minutes please,"Alexia said.
"No baby your going to Uncle Rays house. You have to wake up now and start getting ready. "
"Ok daddy we'll be down ,"she said as she rubbed her eyes sitting up in the bed.
"Ok.Hurry before your breakfast gets cold okay love?"
"Okay daddy."
I quickly ran back downstairs just in time to take the sausages out.
After all was finish. I shared out everyone's breakfast and it looked good. Its eggs,sausages and tomatoes.

"Mmmmm daddy,"that smell delicious,"Gracelynn said as she sat around the table.
"Yeah it does baby.How was your sleep?"I asked her as she prayed and dug into her food.
"It was good dad.We slept well,"Alexia said answering for her sister who was too busy eating.
"Nice to hear that,"I said as I started to eat.
"What time will Uncle Rayan be here dad?"Alexia asked.
I checked my phone to see that it was 10:05.
"He should be here at 11.When your finish eating then you can shower and get ready.."
"Okay ."
After 10 minutes we were finish eating .I washed the dishes as the girls went upstairs to get ready.
I texted Allayah Ill pick her up at 2.
Before then Im gonna get some snacks,drink,a gift and some games.
