Chapter 9 ~ Patrick, I need to Tell you Something

Pete's POV:

I have made my decision on how I feel about Patrick. I like him. I don't know if it's a like like or he's just like a crush. But I know I have feelings for him. (You guys probably already knew they'd find feelings for each other. Oh well :P)

I prepare myself for going downstairs to the kitchen since it's almost 6 and I'm hungry. I don't know when I should tell Patrick how I feel. I don't even know if he still likes me like that. He's been going out with Tyler for almost a month now. I doubt over that time he hasn't developed actual feelings for him.

Maybe I shouldn't tell him now. Maybe I should wait a week or two. I don't know. Let's just focus on getting through the rest of the day and we're good.

I finally leave my room and go down to the kitchen. There, I'm greeted by Joe, Andy, and Patrick. Andy is at the stove stirring something in a pot, Joe is in the fridge looking for something, and Patrick is on his tippy toes trying to grab plates for a cabinet above his head.

"Hey Pete!" Joe says, closing the fridge.

"Pete!" Patrick screams, still trying to reach plates.

"Hey, what's up? Where you've been?" Andy asks looking at me.

"I was in my room. I had a bad headache. But I think I'm better now."

"That's good. We're making food now if you're hungry." Joe said.

"Actually I am. Joe and Pat are just hang out." Any says reaching for a bowl.

"Well I can't reach most the stuff here so it's not my fault." Patrick says. I start laughing a bit cause Patrick looks adorable when he pouts.

"Yeah yeah. Go sit down cause food's almost done." Andy says. The three of us walk over to the table and eat our food. Andy made us some pasta recipe that wasn't that bad. We talked about a bunch of random things and just how everyone's day went. I obviously didn't do much so I didn't really contribute to the conversation.

"I miss this" Patrick says when it's kind of silent.

"What do you mean Pattycakes?" I ask.

"We're all so busy with stuff like I've got Tyler and you guys are out going places and we don't spend a lot of time together."

"So you're saying you like it when we hang out together?" Joe asks.

"Yeah. I mean you guys are my best friends and we have lots of fun together. But to be honest, it's not just us four that are always really busy. Like all of Panic and My Chemical Romance and all our other friends."

"We should all get together then." Andy says. "I feel the same way Pat. We're friends and we should stick together."

"I agree. With the sticking together and having a party." I say.

"Yeah." Joe agrees.

"Ooo, this is exciting!" Patrick says. We all laugh at his childish excitement.

"But yeah. We should have a party. Just all of our friends." Andy says. "Oh, I'll text Gerard now. He should be up now."

"I'll call Alex." Joe said. They left the room and pulled out their cell phones.

"I guess I'll text Brendon. Can you call Josh from You Me at Six, Pete?" Patrick said as he started getting up.

"Wait, Patrick, I need to um talk to you." I say before he leaves. He sits back down and asks me what's up.

"Um, I need some advice. I think I like someone but I don't know how to tell the person."

"Is it that girl you met at the grocery store?"
