-Pete's POV- THE NEXT DAY
Well, that happened. I kissed Patrick. Technically it wasn't a full on kiss but it is considered a kiss. It probably should have been more romantic. Does it have to be? It was our first date, how more romantic can it get? Am I being crazy? I think so.
I look at myself in the mirror one more time and head to the kitchen. When I get there, it's just Patrick at the table with his back turned to me, so I decide to scare him, obviously. I quietly walk up behind him and put my hands on his shoulders and shake him a bit yelling "Boo!"
He jumps in his seat and puts his hands over his eyes. I start laughing and he lowers his hands and gives me the look that says "I'm going to kill you." I get up and grab some cereal and take a seat across from Patrick.
"So how has your morning been so far?" I ask
"It's been going fine until I died from a heart attack."
"Aww, Pattycakes. Sorry, I had the chance and I just went for it." I laugh as Patrick rolls his eyes. We sit in silence but I can tell something was on his mind. "What you thinking about?"
"Oh nothing. Don't worry."
"No, I wanna know. Pleasee?"
"It's kinda embarrassing."
"I won't judge."
"Okay, I was thinking about the kiss from last night." Then my stomach dropped. It was a bad kiss! Goddamit Pete!
"I'm sorry. I know it could have been more romantic or just in better in general but-"
"No Pete, I'm thinking about it cause it was cute."
"Really?"
"Yeah." Now both of our faces are completely red.
"Well, I know I could have done better."
"When we go on another date you can have that chance."
"Most definitely." Now I'm smiling like a crazy person, at just the thought of actually kissing Patrick. I swear, we're like middle schoolers. "When will we go on another date, cause I wouldn't mind going soon."
"Oh I don't know. Um, we'll have to plan it out later." Just as he finished, Joe walked in and said good morning. He went straight for the cabinet where we stash our cookies and candy.
"How come we don't have anymore cookies?!" Joe yelled while holding an empty container full of crumbs.
"Obviously someone ate them all." I said.
"That is unacceptable. I need cookies!" He said sadly.
"We'll go buy some okay? Don't freak out." Patrick laughed.
"I'm going to figure out who ate them. These were mine and someone stole my property." Joe said
"Really Joe?" I asked.
"YES! I'm going to ask Andy if he ate them. If it was one of you, I'll get my revenge." He said then ran up the stairs to Andy's room.
He quickly comes back down the stairs and asks Patrick and I if we ate them. Of course I denied even though I obviously ate them.
"Ugh, one of you guys is lying and I'm going to figure out who it was. In the meantime, I need cookies. Patrick would you be a dear and make me some of your home made ones. You haven't made them in forever!" Joe asks sweetly while batting his eyes at Patrick. I'm just trying not to laugh because Joe just looks ridiculous.
"Fine I will. I'll get the things I need today." Patrick says with a sigh.
"Thank you!" Joe says as he hugs him. He skips back up the stairs looking like a complete idiot.
