"That manager guy... I don't like him!"
Before Kook could ask his Jagi the reasons for his dislike, Eunwoo comes to them with a few pair of shoes.
"Sir, these are for you. Can you try it on...?" The manager asks Tae politely. Tae doesn't reply, just goes on to untie his shoe-laces. The manager could feel something was wrong, however he doesn't ask anything. He just stands formally at a little distance and lets Tae try on each pair.
While Tae try on the shoes with a foul mood, Kook notices the frown on Tae's face and then looks at the manager–who is focused on the shoes that are being tried on. Kook wants to uplift his Jagi's mood, so he tries to think of some way and once he gets an idea, he shifts closer and holds Tae's arm before he speaks excitedly,
"Hyungie? You are so good-looking that all the pairs look perfect on you..."
Hearing the compliment, Tae looks at his babie and smiles his genuine smile before taking Kook in a side-hug,
"Really, love?" Tae asks with a hint of teasing.
Kook burns many shades of red and looks down before he nods, now suddenly shy due to Tae's whipped stare. However, before they both could get more lovey-dovey, the manager speaks his mind,
"I agree, Sir. All the pairs suit you..."
Hearing this, Tae looks straight in the manager's eyes, his smile gone, replaced with a cold-straight face. He was going to reprimand the poor employee for ruining his moment with his babie, however Kook cuts in and speaks, "Sir, can you go and bring some water for me?"
The manager nods and quickly goes away to bring water for Kook while the said boy looks at his Jagi and speaks while cupping Tae's face, "Jagi, don't be angry... He is just being polite."
Tae sulks and complains, "Why do you always take their side?"
Kook smiles and leans in to leave a cute peck on Tae's nose, "I just don't want my Jagi to be perceived as a bad person. You are the kindest soul I have ever come across, Jagi. I want the world to see you the way I see you..."
