"Yeah, fine." Rose mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest, and sitting on the captain's chair.

"How's Mickey?" The Time Lord questioned, kicking himself at her bitter look.

"He's okay. He's gone." Rose declared sadly.

The Doctor watched grimly at the saddened blonde, "Do you want to go and find him? We'll wait."

"No need. He deserves better." Rose sniffed, she stood up and joined her alien friend at the console.

"Off we go, then. Always moving on," said alien announced.

"Next stop, Raxacoricofallapatorius. Now you don't often get to say that." Jack grinned as he attempted to cheer up his blonde sister.

"We'll just stop by and pop her in the hatchery. Margaret the Slitheen can live her life again. A second chance." The Doctor grinned, throwing an arm over Rose, hugging her to his side before letting go to pilot the ship.

"That'd be nice." Rose smiled softly as she sat down beside Jack who wrapped an arm around her.

Wolf Whispers

Charlie groaned as she came to. She could feel the cold concrete floor beneath her and wondered what happened. Last thing she could remember was being on the TARDIS with her friends, then there was a bright light. Her eyes snapped open, her danger bells ringing loudly in her head. Jumping to her feet she frowned looking around her. She was standing in some kind of arena. She was orange looking liquid all around her with several objects littered about like lily pads. She pulled her shirt collar away from her neck, the heat of the room making it unbearable. Hearing other people breathing, she turned to find herself not alone. There were three others in there with her; two males and another female.

"Where are we?" Charlie asked the other woman who had brown hair and green eyes.

The woman was about to answer when the overhead tannoys activated.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, WELCOME TO ANOTHER EPISODE OF FLOOR IS LAVA. LETS MEET OUR CONTESTANTS!" a man's joyful voice echoed through the room.

A spot light shined on the man to Charlie's left,

"PETER MARSH. A ECONOMICS PROFESSOR FROM SURREY, ENGLAND,"

"LESLIE TINMACK. A STAY AT HOME MUM TO THREE CHILDREN," The other woman let out a cry of fear confusing Charlie, after all it was just a game.

"CHARLIE BANKS. MEMBER OF THE INFAMOUS E-ACADEMY." Charlie's eyes widened and suddenly found herself on the alert, no one should know about that. Clenching her hands into fists, she realised she needed to get out of there and find her friends - fast.

"CORNELL FOSTER. AN IT SPECIALIST." The final man shifted uneasy, his hands crossed tight over his chest.

"NOW THE RULES ARE SIMPLE. FIRST PERSON TO REACH THE END OF THE COURSE WINS! IF ANY PART OF YOUR BODY TOUCHES THE LAVA YOU LOSE!"

Charlie looked hesitant towards the orange liquid. Now that she thought about it, she noticed it bubbling and could see the steam rising from it. Surely it's not real lava? Looking at her fearful fellow contestants she was unsure.
