when I wake up I hear bangs and screams.
I hear someone saying no then someone saying do it!!
I grab my phone and dial 911 but don't press call, I check quietly to see what's going on.
Someone's in the house. I press call and wait for someone.
"911 what's your emergency?"
I tell the woman what I believe is going on and tell her where I live.
"The police will be right on their way"
I hang up and hide in my closet quietly.
Then someone comes up the stairs I try not to breath in heavily, I hate when people do that in movies, they're so dumb. It's like there's something in their throat and they're trying to get it out.
"Come out, I know where you are"
What is this hide and seek but with a killer? I don't make any sudden movements.
I text Nash, which was a stupid idea.
"Nash help me, someone's in my house" I quickly text.
"What? Where do you live" he replied quickly, thank you.
"100 park grove" I shut my phone off and continue to be quiet.
The person looked under the bed, they looked in the bathroom, but they didn't check the closet. Thank you.
I hear sirens from a block away and I feel a bit relieved.
"Oh shit" he tries to hide but doesn't know where to go.
Can I just say that this guy is dumb, like really dumb.
The sirens get louder and then they stop.
"Go in the house" a man repeats.
I hope my mommas alright.
Police run up the stairs and got the "bad guy" under the bed.
Nash opened the closet.
"Hailey! I'm so happy you're okay" he pulled me into a big hug.
I hugged him back, but it was mostly because I was afraid.
"I need to see if my moms okay" I let go of him and run down the stairs.
"Momma?" I call out.
I go into the kitchen and she has a deep cut in her wrist.
"Momma!" I run to her.
Nash grabs a towel and puts it under the running tap and puts it on her wrist.
"Momma! Are you okay?" I ask looking at her wrist.
"Yes, I'm fine" she's shaking.
I hug her tight trying not to hurt her wrist.
Nash looks at her worried, "we should bring her to the hospital to get stitches"
I helped her up.
The police bring the "bad guy" out of our house, "you called at the right time, or else you would've gotten even more hurt"
I nod and they leave.
Nash and I get my mom into the car, and he drives.
Our mom gets sent into the emergency room and goes in with the doctor.
"What happened?" Another doctor asks Nash.
"Someone broke into our house and the person hurt my mom, I didn't see what happened because I was hiding" I answer for Nash.
The doctor looks at me then writes it down, "thank you" he walks away.
Nash puts his arm around me, "it's great to know that you're okay"
I smile because I don't know what to say, "I'm happy that I'm okay too"
I rest my head of his shoulders and look at him.
I know I said I didn't like him before, but I'm starting to like him.
I don't really like this part, it's a fill in chapter :|
