It was horrible. HORRIBLE.
"I don't wanna go back" I whisper to myself.
I throw my bag on my bed and look out the window, like always.
"I wish that I wasn't weird" I feel a trail of wetness on my cheek, sliding down.
"No, why am I crying?"
I look out the window and watch the cars drive by.
"The cars are so pretty"
My phone vibrates.
"Nash Grier requested to be your friend"
What? Now he wants to connect on social media too?
I declined, but the request came in again. I ignored it this time.
I looked through his profile, pretty cool stuff, I won't lie.
I accepted his request. Not because I want to talk, it's so see if he'll actually try to talk to me. I don't know.
"Hey"
It's only been 15 seconds and he already messages me.
I ignore it, but later reply.
"What" I type in
"What's up?" He sends, I roll my eyes.
"I'm kinda busy right now"
"No you're not."
How does he know?
"I need to talk to you"
"Why NEED?"
I wait for a response, but nothing. I knew it.
Then a long paragraph comes in.
"Well, not really need. You see, I know you're really quiet and you used to have one friend, Lisa was her name? Anyway, why are you so quiet now? What happened?" I give my eyes a break.
" I know everyone at school thinks you're weird.... Because you talk to yourself, but I don't think you're weird"
I'm so confused right now, that made no sense.
" Yeah, but why are you texting me?"
"Because I want to know the real you"
The real me.
What does he mean?
I ignore him after that and get ready to take my shower.
When I come back there are more texts from him.
"Hailey?"
"Why won't you answer me?"
"Uhhh answer me"
I ignore all of it and clear my notifications.
