I woke up in the morning to hear birds chirping. I was laying in my bed in my town house that the Prince had given me. He had told me that I fell from the sky, that he had teleported me from a different realm.
He said he needed me for something. That I was a special person and maybe I could help. I knew I wasn't a special person at all and I knew I couldn't help anyone.
I got out of bed and walked over to my small wooden chest in the corner of my room. It didn't have much. Some wooden tools and some crappy armour and maybe some food. I didn't have much of anything seen as how I only got here yesterday. There was also a recipe guide, map (that allows you to see where everyone and everything are) and finally a letter from Prince Andor saying to be careful.
I grabbed everything out of the chest and walked out of the small house I was given. It was a sunny day and all the villagers and guards went about their business like a normal day. I took a deep breath of fresh air. A gentle breeze swayed through the trees.
It was a beautiful day for sure. No doubt that Mr.Syndicate would do something to make the day turn upside down. I don't mind though, since he is a fellow Dianitee.
Sure enough I was right. Tom was already causing trouble. He was using his magical flying ring to fly around as he dropped TnT everywhere. I smiled at him. Suddenly a TnT fell right in front of me. "Ohshit..." I didn't have enough time to escape the explosion. I closed my eyes and hoped for the best.
The explosion went off and when I opened my eyes I was in a ditch, laying on the ground. Everything was blurry and there was a ringing in my ears. I couldn't move.
When my vision came into focus I saw Tom standing above me. "You alright mate?"
"Oh yeah. I'm fine." He reached his hand out and I grabbed it. He pulled me out of the ditch.
"I've never seen you around here before. What's your name?" He asked. Oh that's right no one here knows me but I know them because Prince Andor told me about them.
"Oh, I'm Midnight."
"Nice to meet you and what are you doing here?" Tom said motioning around.
"Oh, I um..." I really don't know what I'm doing here, "I um... I don't know actually." I answered.
"Oh well, I hope you find out one day why you're here," he laughed. Suddenly Lieutenant Al came running toward us. "Hey you!"
"Uh oh, time to go. You wanna come with me?" Tom said.
Of course! "Sure." I said. He smiled and grabbed my hand and started to fly. He flew way up high, too high for my liking. Tom must have noticed my dilemma and he smiled.
"You scared of heights mate?" I nodded. He chuckled. We flew over the wall of the town and pass the statue just outside the front of the gate.
Tom landed just past the statue and smirked. "We're outside the walls Lieutenant. You can't kill us now." Tom said as the lieutenant ran through the gate.
"Well, I can kill you, but it would be unjust, so I'd rather not." Tom rolled his eyes and Lieutenant Al went back into the town.
"Right, so. How would you like to meet a wizard?" Tom asked.
"I'd love to meet a wizard." I replied. Tom smiled.
"Alright let's go." He said.
"Do we have to fly?" I asked scared that we'd have to fly up high again.
"Nooo... but it'd be a lot faster." Tom said obviously annoyed.
We started walking across the grass and dirt and gravel and stone until we came upon a giant hill with a tower and small house at the very top of it.
Before I could protest, Tom grabbed my hoodie and flew to the top of the mountain. I squeezed my eyes shut. When we landed Tom let go of my hoodie and I just about fell over."Waglington!" Tom shouted.
"Yes Tom?" A person in a grey and red robe came out of the tall building. The great Waglington stood before us. "Oh, who's this?"
"Oh this is Midnight." Tom said.
"Hi." I said.
"Hello." We stood there for an awkward moment before Wag spoke again. "What did you want Tom?"
"Oh, I um, I wanted an upgraded version of the digging spell." Tom said.
Wag went back into his house. "I already told you, I can't give it to you, the wizards banned it because it was too OP." He called from inside.
Tom sighed. Wag poked his head out from the side of his house.
"Sorry Tom, if you want I can give you the good stuff." Wag said smiling.
Tom giggled. "Sure. Bring it over to my house when you have it ready."
"Oh yeah, course I will."
"Right thanks buddy."
"No problem." Wag went back into his house.
"Hey Tom! I need you to try something." A girl in orange, with ears and a tail said. That was OMGitsfirefoxx.
"Alright." Tom grabbed my hoodie again and flew down to the pink and purple house.
"Hey Tom. Who's your friend?" She said.
"Oh, Sonja this is Midnight, Midnight this is Sonja."
"Hi." I said.
"Nice to meet you. So Tom, I need you to tell me what this magic wand does. I'm going to use it on you and I need you to just stand there and try not to move. Midnight, why don't you come stand by me." I did as she said and stood by her. "Alright Tom, stand still."
"I'll try." Tom said.
Sonja waved her wand and with a flash of blue light he was gone. "Tom?" Sonja asked.
"Where's he gone?" I asked.
Sonja waved the wand again and in a flash of green light, he was back. "Right, so I was teleported into, basically a deep dark hole."
"Oh cool, this could come in useful. Thanks Tom! Nice to meet you Midnight." I waved as she ran back into her house.
"Interesting girl." I said. Tom nodded.
"Do you want to come hang out at my house, if you don't have somewhere to be." Tom said.
I thought about it for a minute. I really don't have anything better to do and I don't really have anywhere to be... "Yeah sure. Why not." Tom smiled and grabbed my hoodie and we were off to his house, so I could watch all of his crazy shenanigans come to life.
