Episode 3: Taking Over

Everyone was finally in the War Balloon. "Everyone in?" Steve asked.

"Yes." Jordan answered.

"Righty-o! Lets go!" Steve shouted starting up the war balloon. We flew away from Steve's house and Tom's island and over the sea. I wasn't sure where we were going, but I'm sure everyone else knew where we were going.

Everyone was standing because Steve forgot to put seats in, but I didn't mind. Steve took a sharp turn and I fell into Waglington. "Oops. Sorry." I said standing upright again.

"Oh, no it's quite alright." He said. He smiled and I smiled back. He was the nicest person, I'd ever met. Steve took another sharp turn and I almost fell into Sonja, but Wag had grabbed my arm, so I didn't fall. I mouthed 'Thank you.' and he smiled.

The rest of the ride was just as bad as the beginning, bumpy and all over the place. We finally got to a place that looked old and rusty. It had lots of metal and I think Steve wanted to blow it all up. "READY THE CANNONS!" Steve shouted.

"Yes sir!" Everyone shouted. I just kind of stood there awkwardly, while everyone went to a cannon to shoot.

"READY! AIM! FIRE!" Steve shouted and everyone fired the cannons. Everything around us blew up. The balloon shook a little bit each time a cannon fired, but it was all good. Steve turned to me. "Do you want to stay here or come with us."

Well, I couldn't just stand back and watch. "I'm coming with you guys."

"Right, just stay behind us then. Ok mate?" Steve said. I nodded and Steve turned around. "Everyone! We're going in!" Everyone turned. One by one they all jumped up with a parachute equipped. I jumped as well, but I used the hang glider Wag gave me. They landed near a scanner at the front entrance. There were guards everywhere.

I landed behind them and they all took out their swords. The guards came and started fighting them, but they stood no chance. One by one the guards went down and each time they did we got closer and closer to taking it over.

We had passed the first level of security, when Wag pulled me aside. "Do you wanna fight?" I nodded. "Then follow me." I followed as he said. He had taken me down into the basement, where it looked like there was some kind of puzzle. There was a chest in the corner of the room. "In that chest, is some armor and a sword. It's pretty fancy."

"Thank you Wag." I said. I went over to the chest, opened it, took the armor and sword.

"You ready to fight with us?" He asked.

"Of course." I replied smiling. He grinned.

"Right, then lets go." We walked out of the basement and found the others.

"Where'd you two go?" Sonja asked.

"And where'd you get that stuff?" Jordan asked.

"Somewhere." Wag answered. He winked at me and I grinned.

"Mmm, ok." Jordan said.

"Let's not just stand here! Come on we have to go fight!" Tom shouted. He started running and we all ran after him.

As swords clashed, bodies fell, but not a single one of us, had fallen. I enjoyed fighting alongside my new friends, it gave me a special bond to them.

As we fought I swore to myself no matter what I would always protect them from the evil in this world. Even if it meant I had to pay with my own life.

Just as I was thinking another guard was about to put an end to Wag. I ran over and put my sword up. His sword hit mine. He realized what happened and he frowned. "You shall not pass." I said. I thought it was rather clever for the time being since Wag was a wizard and all. He gave me the death glare and then threw me backwards. I fell into Wag again

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied. Wag got up and helped me up the guard was still standing there, waiting. "I can take him." I said. Wag nodded and backed away.

I took my sword and ran at him. He blocked me and hit me with his sword. Luckily he only hit armor. Thinking on my feet I ran around behind him, kicked him, and put my foot on him whilst he was on the ground. He turned over under my foot and looked at me with a pleading look. "No mercy." I said. I took my sword and shoved it in his face.

"Damn, that's pretty gruesome" Tom said coming up behind me. I jumped. I shrugged and retrieved my sword from the guards face.

"Nicely done everyone. the factory is now ours!" Steve said in triumph. We all shouted happily.

"Alright can we go home now? I was busy, till Tom decided to take me away from my work." Tucker said.

"Sure mate. Lets get to the balloon." Steve said. Everyone flew to the balloon leaving me standing there watching them. I turned around and stared at the dead body on the ground. I had killed someone.

"Hey Midnight! Are you coming?" Tom shouted.

"Yeah I'll be there in a minute." I shouted. I stared at the body a second more before I flew off to the balloon leaving the dead souls behind.
