A Star That Once Twinkled

And the emptiness and void appeared
"Why are you so shocked, we've been here," they say

still in the void, still in the dark, still no one here
the few stars that used to twinkle

the hopes and happiness they used to sprinkle
they have fallen somewhere else to brighten other places

as I would consume them in my darkness
I used to search for light, but it's running away

now I am too tired to catch up with the light
I am going to lose their path anyway

my own light had been stolen and lost somewhere
weirdly, I too used to twinkle and flare

now there's no reviving and no other way
to get absorbed now, when my heart was wray
