Prologue - Introduction part three
After attempting to scold BF for the language, which Tails knew that the blue haired man wasn't really paying attention to them, the duo left the room (which the fox noticed that the mouse perked up after leaving the room but decided not to say anything) and soon left the basement before coming across an open room, almost like a lounge area, with some kind of large statue against the right wall that looked very strangely, in Tails' opinion, and on the left. Side of the room there was two doors, though much to Tails' disappointment, both doors were locked so the kit didn't think much of that and simply turned his attention to the figure that was standing besides the statue, slightly worried due to them looking stressed out.
The stressed looking figure was as tall as Mickey and upon closer inspection, Tails saw that the figure was a female Shih Tzu with blonde fur and white patches of fur around her mouth, tail and hands, with her hair tied up into a neat bun with a red hair-tie and a small bell attached to it and have soft black eyes. She was wearing a green button-up vest with a white shirt underneath it along with a red ribbon loosely tied around her neck, a black skirt that reached down a few inches below her knees and was, surprisingly barefooted.
Though as they got closer, Tails noticed that she have somewhat the same projections like Steve have due to seeing sweat drops seeping out along with thin black lines going down her head which only made the kit more worried. Luckily Mickey was the one to speak first.
"Excuse me Miss but are you alright?" The black asked in an concern tone which caused the Shih Tzu to spin around to face them, "O-Oh!" She only let out a surprised yelp which only caused Mickey to yelp back in surprise.
'This is very familiar' Tails idly thought for a moment to speaking up next.
"Please calm down Miss" Tails started to say as he moved close enough to place a hand on her forearm in an attempt to calm her down which surprisingly worked.
"O-Oh, I apologize for my behavior! I'm just really worried and a little stressed out because I woke up in this strange place and met different people that I never seen before and...and..." She soon trailed off as she started to look overwhelmed which instantly caused Tails to grab her hand in an attempt to calm her down and Mickey helped by gently leading her to one of the lounge chairs and set her down.
"Just take deep breathes Ma'am" Mickey softly told her as he was gently patting her hand, which Tails noticed how experienced the mouse was at calming down someone but didn't say anything about it, and luckily, she finally calmed down enough to speak normally.
"T-Thank you" she thanked them with a small smile before letting out a sudden gasp, "Oh! I apologize! I forgot to introduce myself!" she cried out before getting to her feet and gave them a bow.
"My name is Isabelle and according to the note, I am the Ultimate Assistant though, I see myself more of a secretary than an assistant" She introduced herself as she straightened herself.
"Oh? That's pretty neat" Mickey stated with a smile, "My name is Mickey and this is Tails" the mouse quickly introduced themselves while the fox kit happily waved at her, letting Mickey do most of the talking. "Oh! I'm sorry but I have to ask, what was the last thing you remembered?" Mickey asked her causing Tails to look at him slightly confused for a moment. "Oh? Well....I believe I was doing some papers for the Mayor and.....um...." Isabelle trailed off for a moment before becoming a bit stressed, "Oh...I think I fell asleep on my desk" she added with a frown which Mickey gently patted her shoulder in comfort. "Don't stress yourself too much okay? Just relax and it will slowly come to you" the mouse said with a smile. "O-Of course...thank you" she soon thanked him with a smile.
