Aspen had always known that Wolf was trouble. But there was something irresistible about him, something that drew her in despite her better judgement. They had been dancing around each other for months, exchanging stolen glances and playful banter whenever they crossed paths.  It was the middle of the night when Wolf finally made his move. Aspen was fast asleep in her bed when she felt a presence in the room. She opened her eyes to see Wolf standing by her bedside, his eyes glittering in the dim light of the room.  She was about to scream when he put a finger to his lips, silencing her.

He explained that he couldn't resist seeing her, knowing that she was just a few rooms away. Aspen was confused and conflicted, but she couldn't deny the spark of excitement that flared within her at his presence. Wolf tried to enter through the door, but it was locked. Instead, he climbed through the window and settled himself beside Aspen on the bed. She jumped at the sudden weight, letting out a startled cry.  "How did you find my house?" she whispered, her heart pounding in her chest. "What about your wife? Shouldn't you be with her?"  But Wolf ignored her questions, pulling her close and kissing her neck. She pushed him away, her voice trembling as she protested.  "We can't do this," she said, her eyes searching his face for any sign of hesitation. "You're married, Wolf. This is wrong."  But he only smiled, his eyes dark with desire.

"Let's not talk about my wife," he whispered, his voice low and seductive.  Aspen tried to resist, tried to tell him that they couldn't keep doing this. But Wolf was relentless, his touch setting her ablaze with need.  And so they gave in to their desires, their bodies moving as one in the darkness of the room. Aspen tried to tell herself that it was a mistake, that she should stop before things went too far. But in that moment, all she could think about was the man beside her, his touch sending shivers down her spine.  Afterwards, as they lay tangled in each other's arms, Aspen knew that she was in deep trouble. She couldn't keep up this forbidden affair, couldn't let herself be swept away by the passion that Wolf ignited in her.  But as she looked into his eyes, she saw the same conflict mirrored in his gaze.

He didn't want to let her go, didn't want to say goodbye to the woman who had captured his heart.  And so they lay there, caught in a web of desire and regret, knowing that they were playing a dangerous game that could only end in heartbreak. But for now, in the stillness of the night, they clung to each other, unwilling to let go of the passion that bound them together.
