Chapter 6

Here we go!

In this chapter, Himiko goes to the market.

I had a bit of trouble deciding on what things to give to each clone so I had to be creative, so I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 6

NINAHASHI VILLAGE MARKET

"Alright, everyone you know the rules! Don't spend more than you have, don't buy things that you don't need, and be polite," Sakura said as she stood in front of some servants from the Shibata estate.

Himiko smiled as she stood among them, she had a nice cuddle with Urogi this morning who was pouting because he had to switch with Zohakuten later. Urogi had wanted more time with Himiko but he had to stick with the arrangement they made, Himiko was looking forward to meeting the last clone face to face.

"Right off you go!" Sakura said making the servants scatter, Himiko chuckled as she saw Meirin leave with her boyfriend to see some stalls in the market.

"You ready Himiko?" Sakura asked making Himiko turn to her with a nod.

The two began walking down the street looking at the various stalls, Himiko saw a lot of new things and some old things. She marveled at some pretty kimonos but didn't dare buy any, she knew the twins would only destroy them and when would she ever get to wear them? Himiko moved her gaze over to a jewelry stand and went over to it, the man behind the stall was Ryuji.

"Ah, Himiko-chan! It's been a while, how are you doing? Shopping with Sakura-chan today?" Ryuji asked smiling he was an old friend of Sakura.

"Yes, Himiko is looking for some presents today," Sakura said as Himiko leaned over to look at the jewelry he had.

"Oh? Presents? For a birthday?" Ryuji asked holding his chin.

"Presents for someone important," Sakura said making a gesture with her hands making Ryuji's eyes widen.

"Ah! Himiko-chan you found yourself a suitor? Oh, wonderful news, you deserve someone good," Ryuji said with a chuckle as Himiko blushed a bit.

"Hmm," Himiko hums as she spots two items on the table.

One was a pair of purple tassel earrings, she had yet to meet Zohakuten face to face but Aizetsu let it slip that he was fond of the colour purple. She then looked at the other item that caught her eye, it was a golden necklace in a ring shape with a simple flowering going down the middle. She felt like it was missing something.

Himiko turned to Sakura and wrote on her arm *Can Ryuji-san add some small hoops to that necklace?*

Himiko points at the necklace, Sakura follows her gaze and sees the necklace. She nods asking Ryuji who hums rubbing his chin in thought.

"I think I have some spare hoops, let me check," Ryuji said as he went into his shop and a few minutes later came back with four small golden hoops.

He picked the necklace up and went back into the shop, Himiko waited hoping it would work, she smiled as Ryuji came out 3 minutes later with the necklace that now had the added hoops.

"Here we go, is this what you wanted?" Ryuji asked making Himiko nod.

"Yes it is," Sakura said as Himiko paid for the necklace and tassel earrings.

"Ah, by the way, I have some beads I no longer need, I was wondering if you or some of the other maids wanted them to mess around with?" Ryuji asked looking at Sakura.
