I am a paradox.
I say I am happy,
When I'm certainly not.
I want things,
That I know I can't have.
I want to love with all my heart and soul,
And yet I don't quite know how.
I can only remember bad,
When there is so much good.
I dwell on things ugly,
When all it takes to see beauty,
Is to look around me.
Look around.
Shadows cannot exist without light.
Why dwell in shadows, when there is such light?
Love leaves scars,
But it makes you stronger.
Success may be difficult to achieve,
But it teaches you the way.
Happiness may sometimes be hard to feel,
But it starts with one simple thing.
Smile.
