I flipped open the new detective like notebook and grabbed the pencil that hung on the side " Emm well there is Rachel hanagan... Rose Harbour... Rebecca Harris and now this is unlikely hop but Reilly Horwitz" "Your aunt seriously" "Its unlikely but possible" he shook his head "Rose has two kids and has been married for fifteen years so not possible" "Rachel only moved here ten years ago so not her" "So there are to possible people" "Yeah my aunt has only been in three relationships as far as I know one when she was young about sixteen one when she was twenty one it was abusive and she has been in four years" "How di you know he was abusive oh and how old is your aunt" "She is thirty five and family dram- thirty five take fourteen is twe- twenty one" "What about Rebecca?" "She has been single the past ten years" "Okay two possible people" I was now shaking had I been dating and bestfriend with my cousin "Ima ask her" "What who Joyyyy" I ran down the road towards my aunts house and burst through the door Hopper wasn't far behind when we got in she was sitting in a chair reading a book "You have a kid" "What how did you find out oh Hey Jim" "We did some detective work" I looked at Jim his jaw was practically on the ground my heart was clenched we probably can't date anymore "Yeah I'm five weeks along" "What?" When we walked out the house and just stood there breathing "That was a close one Joy" "I know imagine" "Wait but that means" "Rebecca" We said in sync We went running to Rebecca's house and knocked on the door, she opened the door and looked confused "Joyce Horwitz, Jim Hopper what are you two doing here" "We need to ask you a question" "Okay" "Do you know my mom" "Your mom emm... oh are you talking about Robin Hemmings" "R Robin the shop lady" "Yeah her" "Thanks" We walked away "Wow hop" "Should we go see her" "I mean yeah no wonder she was always nice to us not letting us buy bear" "Yeah everyone else didn't give a fuck" "Are you mad or" "I don't know but I have a plan" He rubbed his hands together "Is it evil" "Kinda" "Hop tell me" "You'll have to wait and see Joy" "Hoppeeerrr" So we walked to melvalds yet again and went up to the till worker "Is Robin there" I asked "Yeah she is just in the staff room will I get her" "Yes please" Hopper elbowed me "Actually we will just tell her later thanks" We walked outside "Hop fill me in here" "Well let's just say we need to be buying let's say I'll buy you your resses back but we have to wait till she's at the till" "Okay I guess and yeah i want my resses this time" I chuckled and kissed him.

We sat there for the next half hour "Hopper please can we goooo" "Joy there she is there she is" I jumped up he was right she was taking the till "Let's go" He ran into the shop and I ran after him "HOPPER WAIT UP" I covered my mouth that was way to loud" Now a bunch of people were staring at me in the shop including Karen's brother Devon he was In the year above us he walked over to me his friend Jerry was with him "So your the girl who beat up my sister" I swear I was shaking "I'm going to show you what happens when you mess with my sister" He started dragging me outside by the arm I looked over at Hopper who punched the guy in the face "Don't touch her" While the Devon was on the ground Hopper went to turn to me But Jerry punched him, the two got in a massive fight just as Devon was about to join Robin came over and pulled Hopper off Jerry I sat against the wall feeling a panic attack start Hopper saw me and tugged getting broke free but when he took a step another man grabbed him "Let me go she needs help" Robin and the man glanced at me my breathing getting heavier as they did the man let go of hopper and he ran over to me kneeling down and bring me into a hug my head on his chest, everyone was staring at us "Joy your okay close your eyes your safe" He rubbed my back up and down making me calm down a bit, Once I was another bit calmer Hopper spoke "Forget the plan I'm taking you home" I placed my forehead on his aware people were still looking, We stood up him trying as best as he could to shield me from the eyes that were staring he knew them staring only made me panic.

When I got home my mom called out "Joyce hun you home already" I was still pretty shaken up so Hopper answered "Yeah its us Mrs, Horwitz if you need us we will be in Joyce's room" "Okay Jim be good" We walked up stairs and sat on my bed, Hopper got up and rapped a blanket around my shoulders sitting back down again "You alright Joy" "Of course I am I have the best boyfriend" I layed my head on his lap and put my leg up he was stroking my hair as I drifted off to sleep, When I woke up Hopper was still there stroking my hair he hadn't noticed I was awake so I glanced down at my watch I feel asleep an hour ago, I turned my head to hop who had a comic in his hand and multiple beside him "Hop" "Joy your awake" I sat up and smiled "How you get those without waking me?" "Your mom came in once or twice so I asked her if she could hand me some" I kissed him and looked in his eyes "You didn't have to stay its eight o'clock" "I know the later I go home the better" "Oh yeah" "Well your right I should get going" "No please stay Hop" "I'm so sorry Joy but I can't stay I'll see you first thing though" He kissed my forehead and I frowned "Okay bye bye" "Bye bye love you" "Love you too hop".
