Lady Mercy rolled over with a smile on her face as she looked out of the window as the fireworks flew into the sky above her. The explosions looked like bursts of ink in the sky as she looked around as Andrei knocked on her door before entering with a smile on his face as he holds a vox under his arm as Lady Mercy sits up in her bed with a wide smile.
"My darling boy" Andrei groans as Lady Mercy pulls his face to her and peppers it with kisses which makes him wrinkle his face up as his mother pulls away smiling at the look on his face. "Happy name day, my darling"
"Thank you, Lady Mother" Andrei smiles "And the same to you" he adds as he holds out the box to his mother who smiles as she takes it from him.
"Yours is waiting in the breakfast hall with your Lord Father" Lady Mercy says as Andrei sighs with a nod. His relationship with his father had grown tense after he found out Feyd Rautha was not faithful to his Lady Wife, Andrei's mother.
Andrei could not understand why did could not love his mother like he did. Lady Mercy was the sun to her son, in his mind everything revolved around her.
He is drawn from his thoughts as Lady Mercy exclaims in delight when she opens the box revealing a statue of Lady Mercy with Andrei.
"I did not do this, I had a stone mason create it." Andrei admits shyly before yelping in alarm as Lady Mercy brings him into a tight hug as she kisses his temple gently.
"Thank you, son mine" she smiles "Je dragoste zuk tātad paljon" (I love you so much) she whispers to Andrei in the Kalaris Solaris language which she had started to teach Andrei a few years ago.
"You are welcome Mama" Andrei says back as he pulls away from Lady Mercy who puts the statue proudly onto the bedside table with a wide smile on her face.
"I adore it." Lady Mercy smiles as she stands and walks into her closet as Andrei watches her leave "But I must dress then we are to go to your Lord Father for breakfast"
Andrei bows his head as he falls back onto Lady Mercy's bed as Lady Mercy looks around her clothing before slipping into a scale like dress that fell to the ground into waves of scales. Andrei looks up as she walks back out and holds out her hand to him.
Andrei looks at her in disbelief before he sighs as he takes her hand before slipping her arm into his as he walks with her out of the Lady Mercy's bedroom and the door closes behind them.
