Feyd Rautha

Feyd Rautha looks around from talking to a noble as the great doors open and his wife with their son walks into the Throne Hall bowing their heads to his uncle the Duke who waves them off as they walk over to Feyd Rautha.

Everyone watches even through they try to make it seem like they are not.

When Lady Mercy and Andrei reach him they bow their heads before Lady Mercy steps forwards and kisses his cheek like any loyal wife as Andrei stays in place watching as Lady Mercy steps back before she gasps as Feyd Rautha grabs her by the back of the head and kisses her hard on the mouth.

He lets go and does not look at her as he kneels in front of his son who watches with a nervous glance to his mother who smiles back at him as she steadies her breathing.

"Son." Feyd Rautha states as he looks Andrei over as his son straightens himself making himself seem taller. 

"Lord Father, Na-Baron Feyd Rautha" Andrei states back with a glance to his Lady Mother who smiles as she clasps her hands in front of her resting them on her stomach.

"You have grown strong."

"Lady Mother insisted I learn the way of the swords to make you proud to call me your son" Andrei lied through his teeth, but no one seemed to notice bar his Lady Mother whose eyes narrow slightly. 

Lady Mercy could not stand liars and he was sure to hear about it later.

"Your Lady Mother's actions have my approval." Feyd Rautha looks at his wife who bows her head to him, ever the obedient wife in front of the public. "I shall take over your training now I have returned and you shall become one of the best Harkonnen Generals in our history... would that please my wife?"

The eyes in the Throne Hall all turned to Lady Mercy who once again bowed her head to her husband who stood as he continued to watch her. 

"My son is that of House Harkonnen and it is my duty to make sure he makes his House proud. As the wife of a Na-Baron it is my duty to please my husband." Lady Mercy repeats the words she had learnt since the age of 3 in the Bene Gesserit School.

Feyd Rautha nods his approval as he looks down at his son who looks back up at him with wide eyes that are warm brown, just like his mother's.

"I shall make you proud Lord Father." Andrei bows his head to Feyd Rautha who looks him over before nodding as he puts an arm around Lady Mercy's waist and pulls her to his side as he kisses her temple roughly.

Only Lady Margot saw how she hid her wince though a tight smile.

The Duke's voice echoed through the Throne Hall "The future of House Harkonnen and of House Cassiopeia"

The nobles start to cheer as Lady Mercy forces a smile onto her face as she and Feyd Rautha put a hand onto the shoulders of Andrei who looked out at the cheering nobles with a smile as he glances up at Lady Mercy who smiles back down at him as she tugs his ear lovingly.
