GONE - 12
Dear Issac,
Two months have flewn by in a blink of an eye yet you still haven't contacted.
The last messages we shared were filled with love and cheesy lines you used on me, just to make me laugh. We were texting next to each other for five minutes before I burst out laughing at your attempts to be romantic and you chuckled.
We spent the rest of the evening in each other's company, forgetting about our phones and just...being happy.
I was happy until the next morning when I received that text:
06/04/2015, 4.15am
'Goodbye'.
One word and two syllables was all it took for me to drop my phone in shock. It's all it took for me to ruin my whole entire day, which I was looking forward to spending with you, and that one word was all it took for me to break down into a hysteria.
You didn't send me anything else, no replies to my endless messages questioning you why and where you are. Nothing.
But there was also no break-up, no explanation.
Just a goodbye.
Why not a 'see you later'?
