GONE - 36
6 months.
"I'm here!" I shout as I make my way inside the house, closing the door with my foot.
Diesel comes running down the stairs and into the living room, "Hey babe."
He gives me a peck on the lips.
"I've brought the food!" I hold up the takeaway bags while Diesel smiles and makes his way into the kitchen to bring the plates and cups.
He sets them down onto the coffee table and I pour the contents out while handing him the drinks.
It all seems like the routine, seeing as we do this every week.
I hand Diesel his plate and grab mine while leaning back and snuggling into his chest.
I then realise something, "Where are Lola and Aaron?"
"Right behind you, thanks for saving us some food!" She laughs as she walks in with her boyfriend of two months.
"It's in the kitchen." Aaron goes to get their food while Lola gets the plate.
They do the same thing that Diesel and I do and then snuggle together on the opposite couch.
"Ready, everyone?" Diesel asks as he holds the remote in his hand.
"Ready." We all say in unison.
He presses play on the remote and the movie plays.
Life couldn't be any more perfect.
