Pablo's POV

the next morning

I laid on the edge of the bed and looked back at Elena, she was sleeping softly on the bed. I looked away and I was guilty.

I got up softly and got dressed so I didn't wake her up.

I waited in the restaurant for Maria and I had a cap on with sunglasses to hide my face.

I made sure to be careful of my surroundings and saw Maria, she laughed as soon as she saw me and sat down in front of me.

"Hello." She smiled

"Hi." I mumbled and looks at the floor

"How are you?" She asks putting her purse on the table

"I'm great." I nodded with my arms crossed, suddenly my phone goes off, I check it and it's Elena.

She texted me "it wasn't a fun surprise waking up alone." I smile and texted back.

"Who's that? Elena?" Maria caught me off guard

I cleared my throat and ignored the question
"What is it you want?" I ask

"Pablo...come one, do you still hold a grudge?" She giggles

"You used me." I scoff

"I didn't use you...I just wanted more..." She says slowly, I roll my eyes

"Whatever you do, leave Elena out of it." I snap

"I didn't even do anything but follow her on insta." She scoffs

"Just leave her alone." I glared at her

"You're no fun." She pouts

"We are over, and we have been over." I hissed

"Yea but we can still be friends..."

I laughed before responding with a straight face
"Yea...no."

Adriana's POV

I was walking around the town when I noticed someone who looked exactly like Pablo, my sister's boyfriend. I made sure to look again and lord behold, it was him.

I smiled, he was with a girl, but she had dark brown hair? Did Elena color her hair? I took a closer look and realized it wasn't her.

I furrowed my eyebrows and made my way inside the café, I sat in the booth next to him to over hear.

"Pablo...we both know we still have love for each other...when you started dating Elena you were liking my posts, and still following me." The unknown girl voice spoke softly

"Can you just...not mention any of this to Elena. Please." I heard Pablo's voice.

I stood up and took a few steps and spoke.
"Mention what?"

The unknown girl looked at me.
"Adriana Lima?" She smiled, I glared at her before looking at Pablo.

"What are you doing?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"Adriana...this isn't what it looks like..I swear." Pablo stood up from his seat.

"Does Elena know about this?" I asked, he didn't say anything.
"So...you're meeting a girl, who I suppose is your ex...without telling Elena?"

"Adriana, please! You don't understand!" He sighs

"This is very disappointing..." I shook my head

"Don't tell Elena please!" He pleaded

"She's my sister...I have too." I looked at the girl and she smiled
"What is so funny?" I ask looking down at her

She chuckled before speaking
"Nothing...it's just, I've never seen Pablo so scared before..."

"He should be scared!" I hissed looking at Pablo before looking at the girl with disgust.
"I think you should leave..."

The girl looked at me
"Now Adriana, is that how you speak to a fan?" She laughed

"Get out Maria, this was a mistake." Pablo spoke up.

Maria...she stood up and smiled before waving goodbye at us. I looked at Pablo and shook my head.

"I know...I fucked up." He admitted.

"Let's get you home." I said leading him out the café, and into my car.
