Aria Martinez, a 24 year old girl who suffers a great loss of her family, as their house burns down with them in it, Aria seems to be the only person who made it out alive, barely.
Aria graduated from Yale, with a degree in forensic psychology and English. ever since she was little, Aria wanted to be a writer, write about what she felt and help other people too. she always had a soft spot for anyone really, it was inevitable not to admit that she was extremely empathetic. she volunteered at pet shelters, daycares, and would spend her days off reading or shopping. Aria believes helping others with always be better than helping yourself, or being "greedy" is how she views it.
months later she begins her job in the BAU, studying the human behaviour and helping people to her greatest ability. aria builds a close and strong connection with the group and becomes a part of their family
