Manan and I had graduated from the college last week and I am a little nervous cause he is going to tell his family about our relationship though they might have some idea but are not very much sure while my family knows about our relationship and they all are very happy.
Manan, uncle aur aunty gussa to nhi honge na..... pta chle unhone hamare rishte ko hi mana kr diya. (Manan, uncle and aunty will not be angry, will they? It turns out that they have rejected our relationship.)
Nhi yaar Shivani, tu to ese keh rhi h ki jese tu mere gharwalo ko janti hi nhi h.... Aree hum Bachpan ke dost h aur meri mummy tjhe kitna pasand bhi to karti h, he said making me feel a little nervous. (No dear Shivani, you are speaking as if you don't know my family... Hari, we are childhood friends and my mother likes you so much.)
"Okk" I said and then we reach his house to tell the family but when we get into the house, all the family members are sitting in the living room along with my family and when they heard us coming they all turn towards us and smiled.
"What are you doing here, mumma papa" I said because I am confused as they didn't know that we are going to be here.
"Tum log yaha pe aake Manan ke parivaar ko apne relationship ke baare mein batane wale the, isiliye humne socha ki kyu na hum tumhe aake surprise de de", mumma said making me surprised. ("You guys were about to come here and tell Manan's family about your relationship, so we thought why don't we come and surprise you")
"So, you already told them about our relationship" I said looking at her and she nodded.
"Then, do you agree or not??"... I said
"Of course beta, hum kyu nhi manege balki hum log to bahut khush hai" Ankita aunty said making me smile and then I go towards her and hugs her while she patted my back and Rohan uncle smile towards me and I smile back.
"Dekha Shivani maine to kha hi tha ki mere Ghar Wale Maan jayenge, tu faltu mein tension le rhi thi" Manan said chuckling to me. ("Look Shivani, I had already said that my family will agree, you were taking tension unnecessarily.")
"Han han to thik h, main nervous thi" I said embarrassed while everyone laughs looking at my expression. ("yes yes that's okay, I was nervous")
"Ok then, if everyone has agreed to their relationship, then we have a surprise for u guys" Ankita aunty said smiling and along with her everyone also nods their head.
"What ?" I said confused and looks towards Manan that if he knows anything but he simply said no through his head.
"Hume lagta hai ki jab tum bache sath mein rehna chahte ho to tum logo ko shaadi kr Leni chahiye" they said ("We think you guys should get married when you want to have kids.")
"What?? Why??, we are so young" I said
"To hum kab keh rhe hai ki tum abhi hi shaadi kar lo, tum chaho to 2 ya 3 saal baad jab man kre tab kr lena... Bas jyada der mat kar dena" ("So when are we saying that you should get married right away, if you want then you can do it after 2 or 3 years when you feel like it... just don't delay it too much.")
"Ok" we said together..... after that everyone hugged and congratulated each other while chatting, laughing and eating sweets then, we came to our house.
