It was 6.00 am and the alarm rang.
Avneet quickly opened her eyes and dismissed the alarm. The day, she had waited has come. Regardless of his behavior, she had fallen for him. She had dreamt of receiving care from him. She has been craving for his love. And the day had just begun. Even though he would pretend, but Avneet was determined to enjoy the day, and forget the truth for those seventy two hours.

She stretched her arms and went to the washroom. Siddharth usually wakes up by 6.30 am, so she had only half an hour to greet him with a cup of tea.
She quickly brushed her teeth and went to the kitchen to prepare the tea.

The electric kettle boiled the water in no time, and she put some of the tea leaves into the pot. While the water was taking it's color, she took a look at herself once again.

Would be like her look? She just had a messy bun in her night pajamas. Should she change? But their interaction would only last for ten minutes as he would be going to the gym! Was it necessary to change her attire then?
And the main question was if he would bother himself to take a look at her.
She shook her head and set her hair. She smiled with the fact that she wasn't looking homeless.

She poured the tea into two cups and put those cups in a tray, which she had decorated with biscuits.
She took a deep breathe and went to his room. Her heart skipped a beat when she knocked his door.

"Please reply," she prayed.
But Siddharth didn't utter a word. She waited for some time and knocked once again.

When this continued for five minutes, the door was opened with Siddharth looking furious.

"What's wr-" she didn't let him complete his sentence.

"Good Morning!" Avneet said with a smile.
He noticed the tray with two cups and biscuits.

"What are these?" he asked.

"I am sure that you didn't forget about the deal we had made yesterday," she said.
Siddharth sighed.

They were a perfect couple. They loved each other. She is his lover.
Siddharth had to pretend...
It was only a matter of three days, after all.

"Good Morning," he said while forcing himself to smile.

"If you have washed up, we can have the tea," she said.

"Sure," Siddharth replied and moved aside to let her in.

This was the first time they would be having a cup of tea together.

"How is your work going?" Avneet asked while settling herself on his soft bed.

"Casual... pretend...you love her... three days...."
The words rang in his mind.

"It is okay, I guess?" Siddharth said while taking a sip from the tea.

"We are a couple, you should be sitting on the bed," Avneet said.
Siddharth clenched his jaw and sat beside her.

"I would like to make this clear," the cold tone in her voice was back. "You will have to treat me as your lover."

"You can do it Siddharth..." he muttered.

"I will not make you repeat that, love."

Even though she knew these were fake, but his words didn't fail to bring a blush upon her cheeks. She was the one who wanted it, but it appears as if she is not ready for it at all.

"You need not to say such cheesy words," she complained.
"But that is how I would treat my partner," Siddharth said while smirking. He liked how she blushed.
