Siddharth left from his office early. He was granted leave from his workplace as he had never taken a leave all the last three years, rather he over worked. It must have been something important for which he wanted a leave.
Siddharth was happy. Nine hours out of seventy two has already passed. It still sounded unbelievable to him that she would really leave him. He would be left alone, finally... No one will be invading his privacy anymore...
With his thoughts, Siddharth reached his house. He was tired but the thought of getting the freedom kept him alive.
He pressed the calling bell, and the door was opened immediately.
"Were you waiting for me?" Siddharth asked Avneet.
"I was..." she said with a slight blush.
"You didn't get ready yet?" Siddharth asked.
"I will just put on the dress," Avneet replied.
Siddharth nodded and went to his room. It took him fifteen minutes to get freshen up and get ready for the day.
He wore a red sweat shirt. It was Monsoon, and the weather was pretty chilly."Avneet! Are you done?" Siddharth asked her while fixing his watch.
"Yes..." she yelled from her room.
"Only, two and half days more. You can do it Siddharth," he told himself. "How long does the girls take to get ready!"
Siddharth muttered with frustration dripping through his voice and he turned towards the stairs to call her again when his eyes landed on the unprecedented beauty who was descending down the stairs. The green silky cloth with the soft jacket, was it made for her?
Was she always this beautiful?
He wondered.
"She is beautiful, but I still hate her," he reminded himself.
"Let's go!" Avneet said which brought his senses back.
He nodded and took a step towards the exit.
"Siddharth..." Avneet called.
He looked at her with amusement. He was not yet used to her calling him with his name which sounded sweet from his mind.
"Didn't you promise me this morning that you won't make me repeat my words?" she said.
"Did I?" he thought.
Thinking for a while, he recalled that, he had promised to treat her like his lover. He clenched his jaw.
"Let's go baby," Siddharth said with a smile as he intertwined their fingers. She smiled at his action and took big steps to meet his pace.

"Let's ride the dancing cars!" Avneet said squealing after they entered the
"That is too scary!" Siddharth shook his head while refusing.
"Come on, please?" She pleaded.
"I don't like that," he said.
"It's just two and half a quarter days you will be dealing with me," Avneet said.
"Alright, let's go!" Siddharth said giving up.
The couple went in one of the dancing cars. Siddharth has always feared these rides. The floor vegan moving. He squinted his eyes.
"Siddharth, open you eyes! It is fun!" Avneet said.
"It's scary!" he complained.
He felt her gripping his large hand with hers. He opened his eyes to look at her.
She was looking at him already.
"Utter the name you respect and love, when you will feel scared," she told him. "You can scream, no one will be judging you!"
Siddharth sighed and immediately screamed when he felt like the world is collapsing.
"Ashi... Ashi... Ashi... Ashi..." he muttered.
Just then he heard Avneet's laughter.
"It's so fun!" she said while enjoying every moment of the ride. He stared at her. The ride was pacing down.
"Eh! End already? Avneet said with a pout.
Siddharth averted his gaze from her.
"We have more rides to go, get up!" she ordered him.
Siddharth sighed and followed her like a lost puppy. They rose the most exciting rides of the amusement park until it was almost dark.
"Can we ride the merry go round please? This is the last, I swear!" Avneet pleaded. Siddharth nodded.
"Is this your first time experiencing this?" Siddharth asked.
"Yes, I have never rode one before!" Avneet answered.
"Why?" he further asked.
"I have always wanted to share the first ride with my partner," she said with a tint of blush upon her cheeks.
Siddharth just stared at her.
"I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable," Avneet said while lowering her gaze.
The seat moved.
"I-its moving!" she said.
The merry go round began moving.
Avneet felt exciting. She has always been an admirer of rides. She looked beside her to check if he was enjoying. But as they went to the top, he hugged her and hid his face in her neck.
"I am afraid of heights!" he mumbled.
"Take the name of someone you love," Avneet said softly.
Siddharth moved back and stared at her.
"Ash-" he couldn't mutter the word he was intending to.
__
"Would you like a cotton candy?" Siddharth asked Avneet as they were exiting the park.
"Really? I would love to!" Avneet replied with a smile.
He nodded and bought two cotton candy for themselves.
"Let's go to the nearest beach," Siddharth suggested. "The weather might not be favorable tomorrow. "
Avneet smiled. This was something she always wanted... that is, to be loved.
Siddharth drove the car to the beach. The weather was pretty chilly but near the beach, the cold breeze was bringing a slight shiver to them.
Looking for the spot they wanted, the couple sat on the sand, not caring about their dress.
"Did you always like rides?" he asked her.
"Yes, I did!" she replied.
"Have you never felt afraid?" he asked with amusement.
"In the beginning I did, but then I uttered the name of the one I care for and love the most," she said. "It would always help me..."
