SUMMARY: you spot him picking strawberries in the field

it was early in the morning, too early for you to be up you thought. it was around 5am and the sun was just starting to rise.

thalias tree was blooming and shining in the sunlight, what better than to head over to the strawberry field and pick some strawberries?

little did you know, a little blond boy who is also the son of poesidon would also be there, early in the morning picking strawberries himself.

you looked over to him, tilting your head slightly. you've heard about him. how he killed the minotaur first try and how poesidon claimed him.

clariesse called him a fraud. but you believed him.

you kept your distance, making sure he didn't see you while you went to pick some strawberries.

he heard the noise of the picking and turned his head immediately at you.

you looked around for a moment, making sure he was staring at you which was kinda silly because he obviously was.

you didn't know what to do so you handed him a strawberry.

he smiled and nodded his head in approval and took one and ate it.

"thank you... i'm percy jackson." he seemed a little shy, he didn't stick out his hand he just introduced himself.

"i'm y/n l/n. i've heard about you." his cheeks flushed a soft pink

"you have?" you nodded

"yeah. i mean... forbidden child of the big three. news gets around quickly." you smiled and he smiled back

he turned to face the sun and sat under a tree, watching the sunrise with probably 2-3 strawberries in his hand while you had like 5.

you both sat down in silence, just looking at the sunrise.
