Few Weeks Later

Today was the baby shower for my babygirl & boy.Since I didn't want something everybody else be doing, the theme was the Looney Tunes Show but the baby edition. I was going to do Spongebob but Ms. K didn't like it. So the next option was the Looney Tunes Show.

Marcus & his twin brother Mason have been very big helps. Mason is extremely excited about being a uncle & godfather. Yes he is dating Kae. They've been together for a long time.

The day was just starting & it has already been hectic. I've been busy co-planning making sure everything is perfect. Kae, Ms. K, & Laisha have been very big helps with planning the baby shower & keeping me from stressing about it.

Getting dress for the baby shower was the worse. Since Marcus & I were matching we needed to start getting dress. The baby shower was in 3 hours & of course we had to be there earlier.

We decided to hold off on the wedding. We were kinda rushing & we just wanted to be settled with our living arrangements before getting married which we both happily agreed on.

We also decided to change the babies names to Ashlynn Skyy Langston & Adrian Shawn Langston. We decided the names could just have the first letter the same not the sound.

We decided to get t shirts made. We decided on cute t shirt with Adrian & Ashlynn's sonogram & their names around it. I wore mines with a custom made Looney Tunes the baby edition skater skirt & Marcus wore his with some custom made Looney Tunes baby edition joggers & we both wore our all white Air Force ones. Yes we were cute.

I finished the last touches of my hair & got everything that we needed for the baby shower. Before the baby shower Marcus & I have a mini photo shoot.

The photo shoot took only 45 minutes so we still were on time for the baby shower.

When we arrived to the building of the baby shower I realized Ms. K, Kae, Laisha , & her sisters already decorated the outside of the building. Looney Tune theme was everywhere. Ashlynn & Adrian's sonogram from the first one to the last recent was posted big on the entrance door with their names around it.

As we entered the building pictures of Marcus rubbing my stomach were up on walls with the decor of the looney tunes characters. It was so cute. I was crying like a baby. Everything was perfect for my babies. I thank God for them. For my babies, my man, Ms. Kae being there for me, Kae being a the true definition of a sister, and Laisha for me a true friend. I couldn't make it without them. I'm so blessed to have these people in my life.

" Why you crying girl ? You suppose to be happy. " All of then said hugging me & trying to calm me down.

" Im just I'm just .. I love y'all slit. I'm so thankful."

After finally calming down we finished the decorations, setting up tables, & cooking the food.

When it was time for the baby shower everyone started to associate among each other. Congratulating Marcus & I just having a good time. We started playing baby trivia & baby shower games.

After all the games we conversed some more & started eating. It was all my favorite foods. Chicken tenders, Hot dogs, hamburgers, hamburger dip, hot wings, tossed salad, devil eggs, fruit salad, & baked beans. Ma Kae really wanted me to be fat with all this meat.

After eating all I could eat it was time for cake & ice cream while opening presents.

The first gift was from Ms. K. It was several things with Adrian & Ashlynn's name on it & baby clothes, bottles, diapers everything. Laisha had several gifts also along with Kae.

The very last gift Ms. K handed it to me. It didn't say who it was from but it said someone close.

While opening the gift all I seen was everyone smiling like they knew the surprise.

After finally getting it open, it was a huge frame with several pictures of when I was born & a picture of each year of my birthday. There were even pictures of my parents at the baby shower when I was in the womb.

There also was a letter inside reading:

Dear Asya,
We love you & we are so proud of the young lady you've become. We know we weren't the best parents but we were good parents. We didn't intend for none of this to happened. Finding out that our baby girl was birthing another baby scared us. Not something you're prepared for but we know you'll do great. After thinking of you bringing two babies in the world & they'll be OUR grand babies lit up our world actually. We apologize for taking it out of the way & judging you. You know what you did was wrong but a wrong decision always come with consequences, good & bad ones. Having a baby is not easy. It's a lifetime 24 hour job. You never stop being a mother. How you raise your child will effect their life forever. We know you'll make good decisions. And we ask that we are allowed to be in our grandchildren lives. We want to be there every step on the way by starting now ...

As I finished reading the letter tears streamed down my cheeks as I seen my parents standing before me with gifts. Lord knows I've missed them.

I sat the frame down gently as I walked toward them as the pulled me into a bear hug. This was the empty feeling I've been missing. A parents love. Any one can play the role but actually having your REAL parents is more than anything to ask for.

" We love you sweetheart. We just wanted what was best for you." My mom said.

" I love y'all too & I know I'm sorry for disobeying y'all. Y'all are greats."

All I could hear was sniffs & aww's coming from the crowd of guest.

Once we all got our selves together I thanked everyone for the gifts & celebrating this special time for me.

Next thing on the list is the birth of my baby girl & baby boy. 😘
