Sunset Valley, California, USA

11:30 PM

Among the sprawling beaches and hot sunny summers lays the land of Sunset City, California, a city where the sun sets while the night never sleeps.

The locals celebrate their holidays like the most notable Día De Los Muertos while enjoying delectable foods from all over.

With the glowing hue of the bright lights of the homes and the crashing waves against the beach, this truly became a paradise to most.

However, that's not the case today, for this isn't a night one would celebrate. How could they?

The view of Sunfield Hospital came into play, but instead of the bright smiles and cheerful patients it was known for, the center had turned into a fiery pit of chaos.

Screams of pain and agony bellowed out into the sky as the flames danced along the grass.

A young man with black and red highlights runs through the bushes and is met with a battalion of police men.

Their barricade posted in front of the burning building.

The young man's eyes stare into the flames, as he hears the screeches of pain and agony.

He pushed past the crowd, running to the police men.

As he neared the officers, their frantic voices cut through the din.

Their voices could be picked up as he approached them.

Officer Briggs

"The flames are getting to big! Where the hell is that fire department?!"

Officer Martinez

"We dispatched a call ten minutes ago! They should be here any second!"

The young man,  stumbled to a halt in front of them, gasping for breath.

His eyes were wide with fear and determination.

"My mom... she's inside! I have to get to her!"

The officers turned their head to see the kid yelling at them.

Officer Briggs turned, his stern face softening slightly at the sight of the distraught teenager.

Officer Briggs

"Whoa kid listen calm down, what's your name? Who's your mother?"

Kai
"Kai, Kai Najima. My moms name is Kalila Najima. She works here," he said panting.

The officers looked at one another and turned back to the building.

Officer Briggs
"Listen, kid, it's too dangerous. We're doing everything we can to get people out safely. Just stay back."

Kai

"No, you don't understand! I have to help her!" he urged.

Officer Martinez placed a reassuring hand on Kai's shoulder, her voice calm yet urgent.

Officer Martinez

"We're doing our best, but you need to let us handle this. We can't risk any more lives."

Suddenly, a massive explosion rocked the hospital, sending a shockwave through the crowd.

The flames roared higher, and the building began to crumble.
