Kellin was pretty sure that his entire life was leading up to a party with possibly the coolest people he had ever met in his entire high school experience.
He looked in the mirror in his room one more time, and ran his hand through his hair again, before bounding down the stairs."Off to a party?" His mom giggled with a grin. Kellin blushed
"Yeah it's the one at Alex's house, that Vic and his friends invited me to."
"Alrighty then" His mom said "If you won't be home me text me okay? I don't mind if you're out, just don't die, and make sure I shouldn't be looking for you." She said smiling at her son who was clearly excited out of his mind.
Kellin nodded vigorously, wanting to avoid as much lecturing as possible so he could get out of the house as soon as possibly
"Thanks Mom, see ya Mom"
Kellin practically ran out of the house. He could walk to Alex's house, it was only two blocks down. Approaching the house, he pulled out his phone and double checked the address Vic had texted him earlier. Walking up to the front step, he could hear music being played very loudly, so loud he could identify it as Blink-182 before he had even knocked on the door. And before he could even reach the doorknob, the door swung open.
"Heyyyy!" A tallish boy with spiky black hair slurred excitedly at him, practically shouting over the music coming from inside.
"Ay you must be that Kellin kid," the boy Vic talks about!" This kid was really hyper.
Kellin nodded slowly, trying to figure out exactly what he was supposed to do in this situation.
"You won't believe how much Vic talks abo-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH FROM YOU JAIME!" A voice easily recognized as Vic's yelled from across the room. Wading his way through the mass of people who had shown up, Vic eventually made it to the front of the room where Kellin and the person who Kellin assumed to be Jaime, were standing.
Reaching them, he grabbed the boy who had opened the door and pointed in a direction where a few other boys were.
"Go hang out with Tony and Mike." Vic said sternly, sounding a bit like a concerned parent
"Wow okay Mr. Tightpants who peed in your cereal this morning" Jaime grumpily said, before walking off to who Kellin presumed to be Tony and Mike.
"I'm so sorry about that," Vic started. "Hs names Jaime, he's a great friend but he's drunk and he gets excited and will spill anything you told him that was intended to be secret."
Kellin giggled at Vic's distress
"It's seriously okay, don't worry"He said with a grin.
Vic looked at Kellin then looked around.
"I Should probably introduce you to a few people, or at least point them out to you" Vic said with a smile.
Pointing over to the boys Jaime had gone off to he said "That's Tony and Jaime, my best friends, and the other is Mike my brother." Pointing over to three boys who were somewhat staring at Vic and Kellin. When they saw the pair looking at them however, they immediately started talking again.
"Now that's Jeremy, Kevin and Joshua. They're pretty rad." He gestured over to another group of boys.
"And that's Andy, Ashley, Jake, and Christian over there, they're something, thats for sure" He said pointing over to a group of boys, all of them with longish dyed black hair and dressed head to toe in black.
Kellin nodded.
"Andy's the tall one right? I've seen him in detention" Recalled Kellin.
"Yeah he's freaking tall" Vic bitterly grumbled
