A few minutes later Vic had made a decent amount of pancakes. Once Mike had gotten some he left so he could, in his words "Give them some privacy". Vic pulled Kellin over to the dining room table and pulled the chair for him, before sitting across from Kellin.

"Sorry, my family can be kinda nuts sometimes." Vic grinned.

Kellin shrugged. "It's interesting actually. I like your mom."

Vic just smiled. "She seems nice but underneath she's a tiger."

The rest of breakfast passed with pleasant conversions about mothers and siblings and other things until it was ever so rudely interrupted by Vic's phone going off.

Vic pulled it out of his pocket and glanced at the caller I.D. He looked back up at Kellin.

"It's Tony" He said before answering it.

"Yo Tony. What's up?" He sighed quietly.

"Yeah I'm still with Kellin" He glanced over

"Well I suppose we could do that."

"Sure we'll be there soon."

"See ya later asshole." Vic stuck the phone back in his pocket.

Kellin looked over at him with an eyebrow raised. "What are we doing exactly?" He asked.

"They want to hang out with you." Vic sighed. "Which mean you're going to get so many questions, I'm sorry in advance." Vic stood up and grabbed Kellin's dishes, stacking them on top of his, he walked into the kitchen and put them in the sink. Kellin followed.

"Well, Vic, I'm sure I can handle it." Kellin smiled.

"I'm sure you can too. Do want to walk or drive tot he park?" Vic asked.

"Lets walk, it isn't far away right?"

Vic nodded, before running upstairs and bringing down his and Kellin's converse.

"Tony is going to grill you man." Vic said with a sigh, trying to keep his balance as he was struggling to put on his shoe.

Kellin laughed, "C'mon Vic, it's not like I'm your boyfriend or anything." Vic looked at the floor and blushed.

"But, um," Kellin started to stutter, "I wouldn't mind if, um, I was." Kellin had made himself go bright red.

Vic abruptly looked up from the floor, he had also gone bright red at the mention of the B-word.

"We should go, they're expecting us." He said quickly.

-

Tony was starting to get really sick of just Jaime. Don't get him wrong, Jaime was his best friend, but if he had hear another word about how bright the sun was, or how loud he was being, he was going to scream.

He and Jaime had been sitting on the playset by the swings for a good fifteen minutes, talking about last night. According to Jaime some serious drama had played out someone or another and his girlfriend and it had been very interesting watch while intoxicated. Tony just nodded while Jaime told the story, occasionally looking at his phone, trying to figure out when Vic was finally going to arrive with his crush.

Could they take any longer? Tony thought, he had given up trying to pay attention to Jaime. He stood up to look over at the street that Vic should be coming from, and grinned.

"And then she said-" Jaime looked up at Tony, "What are you smiling at?"

Tony pointed the two boy coming down the street . "They're finally coming." Tony waved at Vic and Kellin who were almost at the playset. Jaime groaned, and slowly stood up, walking down the three stairs of the playset. Tony followed him. As soon as Vic reached the playset Tony burst out.

"Oh thank the lord you're here, Jaime is killing me." Jaime glared over at Tony.

Vic laughed for a second before looking at Jaime, "He can complain, he dealt with drunk you yesterday."

Jaime nodded, "Fair enough. Do you guys want pizza?"

Kellin raised his eyebrows, "Vic and I just had pancakes."

"Well most people don't eat pancakes at one in the afternoon." Jaime retorted.

"We could invite Jack and Alex too," Tony suggested. "And then even if you guys aren't hungry we'll finish the pizza."

Vic rolled his eyes. "Those two could finish a pizza by themselves." He pulled out his phone, "So I guess I'll call them." He hit Jack's number and put it on speaker. It took a few rings but in the middle of the fourth one someone picked up.

"What's up Vic?" Alex answered, Tony snorted.

"Alex you've picked up Jack's phone again." There was a minute of scuffling before Alex spoke again.

"I knew matching cases were a bad idea, I'll hand it to Jack, one sec." There was another brief scuffle before Jack started talking.

"You assholes made Alex wake me up." He grumbled.

"Yo it's one o'clock it's your own damn fault for not being awake." Vic scoffed, "Anyway you and Alex should get pizza with us."

The boys could faintly hear Alex and Jack's quick debate before the response. "We'll be there it might be awhile we have to get dressed and shit."

" 'Kay see ya.' Vic hung up.

-

It had taken fifteen minutes before everyone showed up at the pizza parlor but after they had ordered, the group had settled into a comfortable banter.

"So Kellin, I hope you haven't felt too out of place with our little group of ours." Tony said looking over at him. Kellin shook his head.

"No, I haven't you guys are cool."

Jack snorted at Kellin's response. "Oh my gosh! He thinks we're cool!" Alex whacked his arm lightly.

"What this idiot is trying to say is that we're all kinda losers." Alex exclaimed, laughing a little.

"I don't know man," Vic started, "Last time I checked losers don't have parties like last night."

Jaime laughed. "No party will ever compare to the cupcake-principal incident of 10th grade." All of the boys, except Kellin burst out laughing.

"Oh. My. God. I Still can't believe we pulled that off." Jack choked out through laughter.

Alex attempted to compose himself and looked at Kellin. "One day, we're going to have to tell you about that, it was spectacular. We all got suspended and it was worth it completely."

Kellin's eyes widened. "Wait, do you mean the thing that happened at the assembly?" He asked excitedly. Jaime nodded. "You guys did that!?" Kellin exclaimed.

Vic grinned at Kellin. "You sure bet we did."

Kellin smiled. "You guys are amazing."

"Thank you Kellin," Jaime said. "I think you'll fit in very nicely with us."
