"On in an hour everyone!" the manager shouted, poking his head around the door.
Hurriedly, Felix pulled his cropped jacket over the black undershirt he had made sure to wear, not noticing the eyes that lingered on him as he did so.
HYUNJIN "POV"
Hyunjin couldn't ignore what he saw as he took a glimpse of Felix as he changed.
He couldn't help it, he had been curious as to why he hadn't worn anything other than baggy clothes for months. And now he thought he might know the reason.
Felix's body was tiny.
In the tight black undershirt, one could clearly see the outline of each of his ribs and the way his stomach caved inwards.
He could see his shoulder blades and vertebra that were far too sharp, and his previously strong arms turned to looking as if they could snap like twigs.
It shouldn't have surprised Hyunjin, he had felt the boy's weight as he carried him, seen his hollow cheeks and bony hands.
But it was still a shock to be able to almost see fully, what had been kept from them.
Hyunjin's thousand thoughts weren't swept away when Felix's jacket obscured his view, but he tore his watery eyes away nonetheless.
So many questions ran through his head, but he knew one thing for sure -he needed to have a serious talk with his sunshine boy.
FELIX "POV"
Felix could hear the screams of fans from outside as they waited.
He could hear the stressed voices of managers and crew trying to sort preparations, could hear Han warming up his vocals and Changbin laughing as Lee Know took a selfie in a silly pose against the wall.
But nothing drowned out the voices in his head telling him he didn't deserve to be here. that the fans weren't there for him, only the others.
Telling him he was worthless.
Felix wasn't happy about the cropped jacket -he would have preferred something longer or more oversized, but seeing how it was at least long sleeved, he didn't want to push his luck asking for something different that might not be.
Running his hands along his arm and letting the sting ground him, he sighed deeply.
He didn't like to admit it, but the incident with Han had helped him realised that breathing patterns actually did help a bit.
The rest of the hour was spent with a bouncing leg and cracking knuckles, as Felix smiled for the camera filming their next Skz Talker and reassured Han he would be alright.
Because he had to be alright.
He couldn't disappoint them or bring the group down, he had to do his best and better.
Because Lee Felix had a perfect life, didn't he?
Members who were like family, a huge fanbase and enough money that he had always worn a massive gold watch as a teen.
What reason would he ever possibly have to be sad?
"We're on stage in 5 so line up everyone!"
~
The roars of Stay became significantly louder as they stood ready to enter the stage.
Then the music began and Felix and the others were running out on stage with hands held high.
~
The concert ran fairly smoothly, with Felix managing to stave off the dizziness every time black spots entered his vision after dancing too hard.
