CHAPTER-9

"So now pete, tell us about which night you and Tay were talking about at the café?" Alan asked as Way added.

"Yeah, please tell us.." Way said as pete sighed.

"Okay, fine." Pete said as he took a seat. Everyone also sat.

"It was 20 years ago. When Way just came as a new orphenage kid. As he and I were enigmas, we were respected by most of the kids there. Way was just a kid. Babe, kenta, do you both remember there was a night when everyone at the orphenage was taken somewhere, but tony came and took us all back to the orphenage building??" Pete asked as babe nodded.

"Yeah, I remember." Babe said.

"But why are we talking about this now?" Kenta asked as pete sighed.

"Charlie was only 2 years old that time. He was also new along with Jeff, who was just 11 months child."

"You knew everybody from the start??" Jeff asked as pete nodded.

"Pete, What are you trying to say??" Way asked, sitting beside pete, holding his hand. Pete sighed and started telling them.

- 20 years back in the past -

"P'peteeee!! I don't want to eat thissss!" Little Way said as the teenager pete looked at Way.

"Way, if you don't eat this, you'll get sick like before. Vegetables are good for us. They make us stronger." Pete said, showing off his non-existence muscles. Way just laughed and ate his vegetable. After a while, tony brought in 2 childs, one named Charlie, and another jeff. Way gets excited and played with Charlie and jeff for a long time. Pete just admired Way with affection. He loved Way, but he thought that he was just a kid. How can this kid love him back? The thought always made pete crazy.

At night, after he puts charlie and Jeff to sleep. He saw Way falling asleep . So he took him to Way's room and put him to sleep, too. He then went out to see kenta alone, sitting at the floor, looking at the sky. He went to kenta and also sat down with him.

"Oi kenta. What are you doing?" Pete asked.

"Looking for your brain, idiot! Don't you see I'm sitting and looking at the stars??" Kenta said as pete laughed. They talked through the night until it was 4 a.m.

" Oi pete, I need to go. If I don't go back to the room now, pa will punish me." Kenta said while leaving.

"Yeah, yeah, good night. Have sweet dreams!!" Pete said as kenta replied.

"Yeah, you too. Have some sweet nightmares!!" Kenta said while laughing.

"You- wait, kentaaa!!" Saying this pete starts to run behind kenta. They both run laughing. Then pete catches kenta and started to tickle him.

"Oi pete!! Stop naa!! I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry." Kenta said laughing as pete released him. "Okay now have a good night. See you tomorrow!" Kenta said as he finally leaved. Pete who was alone, thought to take a walk as  he wasn't feeling sleepy at all. He was about to leave when he heard someone talking. It was Tay.

Tay was the one and only pete hated the most as Tay always takes Way away from him to play whenever he comes. Pete always felt this anger inside him whenever Tay took Way away from him. He always felt like killing Tay. But still he never misbehaved with him. As his brother Tony aka his father is the one because of whom, he is alive today. Due to the respect and love thoughs his pa, tony, he never dared to misbehave or show his anger. He always acted like he liked Tay.

"So is it a deal then??" Tay asked someone from the other side of the phone.

"That's great to know sir! Don't worry all the kids will be there by 9 a.m." Tay said as he cut the call. "Listen take every kid in that building with the trucks I told you to arrange before. Except Way, he will come with me." Tay ordered to his bodyguards.
