The Meeting

Kanzaï's POV
- Hey Kanzaï !! I heard my dad shouting at me.
- What ?! And stop screaming, I'm literally beside you.
- Can you tell me where you were last night ?
- Mm.. sleeping ? I said with an innocent smile.
- Don't take me for an idiot, I got a call from the Wolf King, he told me that his daughter was acting weird since she woke up, he said.
- And ?
- And, I know you've done something wrong, I mean, your the only person here to do stupid things.
- Are you accusing me ? I said with wide eyes.
- No, I'm spilling facts.
- You can't say this ! Accusing your son to have made her drunk !

At that moment, I heard my dad laughing.

- Why are you laughing ?! I said madly.
- I don't remember ever telling you about making her drunk, he said with a cold voice.

Wide eyes, half-close mouth, half-open, I stayed there looking at my dad without saying anything. I didn't even let a single breath go out of my body, I was trapped with no way out, and I knew that it was going to end in a bad way.

- What ? Giving up ? my dad told me.
- And you know what ? he told me.
- W-what ?
- I'm disappointed, I thought that when I told you, you were going to take my role as a king, I thought you would change but I suppose that I was wrong.

Then, he stopped talking, and he left Kanzaï in the living-room, with nothing but a tear in his eye.

(In Kanzaï's room)
Kanzaï was in tears in his bed, he couldn't stop thinking of how dumb he were to do such a thing.
He wasn't ready for the words of his dad but he was right, that's the thing that hurts the most Kanzaï, that his dad have the last word.
After some time he stopped crying.

- Dang it, I'm hungry, I told to myself. I want strawberries.

Leaving my bed to go to my little fridge, opening it and seeing nothing.

- You're gotta be kidding me ! I said breaking the fridge.
- I suppose I need to go buy some.

I sighed.

No wanting to go downstairs by fear of seeing my dad, I left by my window making my way to the town.

Beauty's POV
- Thank you so much for you help honey, I don't think I would have done all those paperworks if you didn't come help me, my mom said to me.
- There's no problem mom, I'm glad I could help !
- You're such an angel my baby, come here I want to give you something.
- What is this ? I said confused.

Mom gave me a box where a beautiful blue and green necklace appeared.

- Mom.. I said chocked but still mesmerized by the beautiful diamond which was making the necklace so much more elegant.
- When I saw it, I just knew it was meant for you, she said smiling.
- But why..?
- Because you deserve it, these days had been so stressful and you still decided to help your father and me, I still don't understand how you managed to do the paperworks.

- That's my role, in 2 years, I'll be the person taking care of this kingdom so it's normal that I get prepared, I said to her.
- My lord, why are you so perfect !

I smiled when she said it.

- Anyway, let's prepare your father birthday cake.
- Okay !
-Ah.. I heard my mom say.
- What is it ?
- We have no strawberries and sugar left.
- Oh ! Not a problem, I just go buy some.
- Are you sure ? Do you need me to come with you or a maid ?

- None. I can go alone, I said confidently.
- Alright.. just be careful and send me one of your feathers if you need help okay ? my mom said worried.

And then, I took my coat and left the castle.
