Kanzaï's POV
- Hah nice to meet you, princess Beauty.
When I said it, she turned around to look at me.

- Hi ! She said.
- H-hey !
The moment she said hi, she got closer to me, letting me have a beautiful view of her diamond eyes which, made me blush a little..
- I don't remember ever having seen you here, where are you from ? She told me with curious eyes.

- Oh, umm..
I needed to find something quick, she couldn't know who I was.
- I'm a villager of the Eagle Clan !
Even if my disguise was the look of a Peacock Clan's villager, I didn't need to worry to much because dressing as a person of the Clan you're going to is a sign of respect but right now I couldn't care less about that.

- Ah I see. It's nice to see a villager of our dear friend's clan, she answered with a bright smile.
- Y-yeah..
- Can you tell me why you're here ? It's not everyday that we get to see an Eagle Clan's member in our Kingdom.
- Oh yes, about that, we ran out of strawberries in the town so I came here to buy some boxes, I said, trying to act normally.
- Well, of course you can buy some here my dear, it's not a problem at all !
- T-thank you, your Majesty, I was bowing while still blushing at what she called me.
My dear.. she called me my dear 😳 I couldn't stop hearing her voice in my head.. god.. what's happening to me ?
- Please, don't bow, it's totally normal to help a friend ! She said nervously.
- Alright, I smiled to her.

His smile is cute.. The princess thought.

After a little bit more talk with the princess, I bought my strawberries and left the kingdom.

Beauty's POV
After having bought everything I needed, I came back to the castle and went directly to the kitchen so I could bake the cake with my mother.

- Mom, I'm back ! I shouted.
- Ah great ! Let's start the cake then. She said while getting up from her chair.
- Mm!

After spending 2 hours making a perfect cake strawberry cake for my dad, my mom let it rest in the fridge and I went in my room to rest a little too.
I went straight to my bed because I was tired but I couldn't sleep, I was still thinking about this cute villager from earlier.
After a minute, I figured out something..

- Wait.. I forgot to ask his name ?! Beauty, you idiot!

I knew that I couldn't go straight to the Eagle Kingdom 'cause of the Ceremony of Feathers which was going to take place tonight and no one from outside could join, it was an event for the Eagles only.

(A/N: The Ceremony of Feathers is a magical event where all the Eagle Kingdom can come to know what type of eagle they're gonna be in the future, the way used is a water that becomes magical in a full moon, we call it "The Moon Water", and thanks to her, all people of the clan, but mostly kids can know if they'll be strong eagles or not.)

- Hah.. I hope to see him again.. I said sadly.

Kanzaï's POV
After coming back from the Peacock Kingdom, I went to my room by my window like I did at the beginning.

I saw Tanzy and knocked at the window so he could open it.
After that, I showed him the strawberries and we started to it eat them, they were absolutely incredible and while we ate, I told him about Beauty, how she looked, how kind she was, and he answered by saying,

- You're totally in love with her bro ! He shouted.
- Well, I don't really know.. We just met.
- Love at first sight, he said with a smirk.
God.. I never wanted so much to make him eat his smirk back.

- Shut up Tanzy, would ya ?

He laughed.. I swear.

- But.. It's just not right.. I can't be in love! What would my father say if he knew about this ?.. That I fell in love with a peacock..
Was I really starting to cry ? I didn't cry since that day.. It must really affects me..
- I get what you mean but you can't stop love.
