*Ice's POV*
Fuzz sat down next to me, and it almost seemed as if he wanted to glare at me. I cocked my head. What's that for?
"Ice, can I talk to you for a moment?" He asked. I nodded, and we excused ourselves from everyone. Once we were at a distance, Fuzz turned to me.
"Hey, were you jealous of Turtle?" He asked, suspicion bubbling in his voice. "Because she liked me?" I blinked.
"No, of course not." I said. "Why do you ask?" Fuzz flicked his tail impatiently.
"I mean, since Turtle is dead, what exactly happened?" He tried again. Is he trying to pry something out of me?
"She got a lot of wounds from fighting Han's goons, and then giving birth ultimately killed her." I said, a little grief watching over me. Turtle's death was really hard on Fuzz. I hope he wasn't shaken too much.
Suddenly I was pinned to the ground, and Fuzz hissed with fury.
"Don't play games with me, traitor!" He snarled, and my eyes widened. "You killed Turtle! You got jealous, didn't you?!" I tried to struggled free. What's gotten into him?!
"I-I don't know what you're talking about!" I cried. "Who planted these awful ideas in your head? Let go!!"
"Han told me your awful plan. I can't believe you did that! How could you?!" He made a few sobbing noises, and almost looked as if he wished he could cry. I took it as an opportunity to struggle free, and got up.
"How can you trust Han?" I asked him. "It's what he wants you to think. He's trying to tear us apart. Isn't it obvious?" Fuzz tried to gaze at me.
"But... It made so much sense in my head..." He choked. "I.." I put my tail around his shoulder, and gave him a pat.
"It's alright." I soothed. "He can't hurt us anymore. I'll set him free; it's the only way to keep us together." Fuzz nodded.
"We can't let the go on," he said, standing up. "Where is the Ghost Rebellion? We have to stop whoever is leading Han's group once and for all."
"We'll figure this out." I agreed. "No more running. If it's war they want, then it's a war they'll get."
....
*Izzy's POV*
"Let go of us, you monster!" I snarled, and a few cats thrusted my team into a cage. A black tom stepped out of the shadows, his bloodstained fangs gleaming.
"Torture them however you want, I'll deal with those pests later." He ordered, and glanced over at me. "Tie up their leader and put her in a separate cage next to my area. She's definitely wonderful." He attempted to tickle me with his tail, but I clawed at it.
"Creep!" I spat as they moved me to a separate cage. I shot a nervous glance to my team. I can't believe this is happening. "What do to you want with me?!" The tom chuckled.
"Hmm, I wonder what," he sneered. "You'd make an excellent mate. I like feisty she-cats." I gasped.
"You wouldn't!" I growled.
"Oh, I would." He meowed. "And I'm going to make you enjoy your new life."
I gulped. Is this really the end? I'm being forced to be this guy's mate, and my friends are going to be tortured. For the first time, I'm actually worried about the future of the Ghost Rebellion.
