We walk run down a grassy hill, crowching down about 60 feet away from a building so no one sees us, "Bro, its a bloody fortress. Are you sure they in there?" Alfie asks Caspar referring to the images of the kids that we saw, and Caspar led us to them.
"I can hear them"
"Well look for a way in. Just you and me, Alf" I offer, "If they see us, were lost children" I feel a little nervous about that, but I got to suck it up.
"I could be a lost child" Penny says, "Im smaller" She's right, she would be better for the job, "And cuter" I say, agreeing with her.
"She does add authenticity" Alfie also agrees with us, and I laugh a little bit.
I look over at Monty, to get permission, "okay fine" He clenches his jaw, "But Penny? Hey, Penny, your gonna listen to Elsie, all right?" He then looks at me, "I'll look after Caspar"
"Thanks" I hold Penny's hand and walk to the building.
"Do you have a crush on my brother? He talks about you all the time to me, I think me might have a crush on you" Penny randomly blurts out, and I choke on my spit, "But then I saw you kissing Caspar, and Monty looked mad"
"I- um. I will be right back" I did not know how to respond to what Penny said, so I left. I walked to Monty and Caspar and I hear them saying, "I dont need superpowers to see it. She's probably the one who doesn't see it"
I get intrigued by the conversation, "See what?" I come up from behind them, and they both jump a little.
"Nothing, nothing at all" Monty replies, sighing a little.
"Damn, okay. Well, while you two were busy chit chatting, I think they found a way in"
"You think?" Caspar asks
"Yeah, I kind of ditched them half way through" I reply
"Why?" Monty asks
"No reason" I quickly reply, feeling my cheeks getting red. Oh my god, get it together Elsie.
"Now your the one keeping secrets" Monty jokes, and I laugh a little. I catch Caspar glaring at Monty, and I lead them to where the others are.
I found them after a minute of walking, they are standing by a gate waiting for us, "This way" Penny quietly yells at us as we run through the gates.
She leads us through the door, and inside the building. We speed walk through the place, it kind of looks like we are in a huge basement. You know how sometime's basements smell, like, wet? Thats how it kind of smells and feels down here, its weird.
We keep walking until we hear voices, and Alfie puts a finger up to his mouth to shush us, "Soldiers" we wait for a second or two and the voices die off, "I think they're leaving"
I turn around and see that Caspar is deadly starting into these random cabinets, "What you looking at?" I ask as I walk up to him, and he is literally not taking his eyes off of those damn cabinets.
"Can you hear them?" I ask, "the- the voices?" He does not respond and just walks up to the cabinets, "Okay then" I scoff and roll my eyes.
Caspar starts to take the things that are jammed into the cabinets out, and it leaves a human sized little secret passage way, "What in the Nancy Drew?" I say as I watch Caspar just disappear into the passage way, "all Im saying is that this is how horror movies start. If we die, I blame it on Caspar" Monty chuckles at what I say, and I walk through the passage after Caspar.
As we reach the end of he passage way, Caspar bends down and knocks something out of the way and crawls through to the room, and I go out next.
"Its them, its them from the dream" The kids whisper, and realize that they are the ones in my vision, "whats going on?" I mutter to myself.
