Few Weeks Later
Jake's POV

Right now me and Alejandro were in the woods going to meet with an ally to tell them about the possibility of us having to go to war. "I still feel like we could have turned into our wolves instead of having to walk to the Starlight Pack." Alejandro said to me.

"It's not a good idea for us to be in our wolf form especially with those hunters being out we don't need to draw them to this pack." I said to him. "I know but I still need to figure out how to put the kingdom on a lockdown without causing a panic." he said to me.

"We have to protect the people because with the type of wolfsbane they shot you with being very rare who knows what else they could have that could hurt us." I said to him. "I think the Starlight pack maybe able to help us since they still do things the ancient way." he said to me.

"We can't judge them for that I mean with them only doing ancient way it gives them an advantage on certain packs when it comes to information." I said to and him and then he didn't say anything.

"Do you sense something?" I asked him. "Your heat is it suppose to come on today?" he asked me. "No please don't tell me my heat is going to come on today." I said to him. "Damnit Jake I need to scent you." he said to me.

So then he pulled me closer to him and started scenting me everywhere. "Mhm stop." I said to him as I pushed him off me. "Jake we are about to meet another pack that's known for having mainly alphas I need to scent you." he said to me.

"No you're making me sick with all the scenting it like it's stronger than usual." I said to him. "Do you want to go back to the castle?" he asked me. "No I'll be fine just don't let off any pheromones." I said to him.

"Are you sure?" he asked me. "Yes I'm sure." I said to him and then we kept walking to the Starlight Pack. "Ale there's something I wanted to talk to you about." I said to him. "What is it?" he asked me.

"If we do have to go to war I don't want the kids here I think we should send them off." I said to him. "Jake that wouldn't help because what if we send them off and something happens to them and we can't get to them in time to protect them." he said to him.

"So you would rather have them here right in the middle of the war Ale I can't have my kids here during this war I can't lose another child because of a war." I said to him. "Alex's death isn't on you I keep telling you that you were not the only person trying to get to him." he said to me.

"Nothing would have happened to him if he wasn't here so please Ale think about what I said." I said to him. "I'll think about it but it's no guarantee that I will say yes after thinking about it." he said to me.

"Thank you." I said to him as we made it in to the Starlight Pack's territory. "Alpha and Luna of the Sapphire pack what do we owe this visit?" I'm assuming the leaders right hand man asked us. "We need to speak to the Alpha and Luna it's something urgent." Ale said to him.

"Follow me." he said to us and then he took us to the Alpha and Luna. "Alejandro and Jake I wasn't expecting you what is this about?" the Alpha Spencer asked us. "We came to speak to you and the Luna about a situation we have." Ale said to him.

"You can talk to me my Luna is currently not here she went to visit her mother who is very sick right now so come with me to my office." he said to us and we followed him to his office.

"Tell me what is the situation." he said to us. "Hunters have came after Alejandro and Javier while they were on their run but Ale said it's like they knew they weren't just wolves but also humans." I said to him. "No one has dealt with hunters for years." he said to us.
