Chapter One-

I just enrolled into Montgomery High last month. It's nearly December. I thought everythng would turn way better than before, but again I am invisible, not that I'm complaining. I'm just considered one of the loners. I'm just a normal, quiet kid in highschool. I'm a sophomore. Yup.

This school is really crazy. There's this popular guy with anger management issues. He gets angry at the littlest things --- so I've seen. This school is highschool, but without the musical.

Let me just tell you about me. I'm Logan. I like to read, listen to old music, and take photographs. I'm the photographer for the school's newspaper. I like to play the guitar. But I love the piano the most. I try not to play it though. I used to play all the time with my mom... until she died last year. She had lung cancer. She had the most beautiful voice. I would write songs and only sing them to her, regardless of my terrible singing skills. I loved her so much.

Now it's just me and my dad. He's moved on. He has a new wife. Her name is Charlotte and she's really sweet. She has a daughter who's name is Lena. She's my step-sister, but I don't like her very much. She's very sarcastic. Lena one year older than me. She goes to Montgomery High, so that's why my dad decided to enroll me.

It's my dad that I'm mad at. He just... forgot my mom like nothing. I never see my dad around the house. He's usually travels out on business.. I don't talk to Charlotte and Lena very much so I guess I was wrong. I am all alone.

At school.. There's this girl I like to take pictures of. Her name is Georgia and she is absolutely beautiful. You can assume that I like her and have a bit of a crush on her, but I've never ever spoken to her. I bet you're asking, how would I be able to take pictures of her? The answer is that I take pictures of her without her noticing. Heheh. Shush, don't tattle on me. Georgia is one of the popular girls, at least that's what I consider her as, so I know she doesn't know that I exist.

I'm in school and I'm walking down the hall way. Back-pack on my back, skateboard in my arms, the book To Kill A Mockingbird in my hands. I was walking toward my locker when someone grabbed my shoulder.

I turned around to see a girl. A pretty one, too. It was Vanessa Mendez, one of Georgia's friends.

"Hey," she smiled, "You're Logan, right?" she asked.

I look left and right to see if she was actually talking to me. It seemed she was. I looked back at her and nodded, "Yup," I said popping the P.

"You're the school photographer?"

I nodded again, "That's me."

"I always see your photos on the bulletin boards. You're pretty good," she twirled a strand of hair around her finger.

It looked to me as if she was flirting with me.

"What are you doing on Friday?" she asked.

I gulped and shook my head, "N-nothing."

"Cool," she smiled, "It's my boyfriend's birthday next week and I want you to take pictures of me with his car. Is that okay?"

Well that was disappointing. I calmed down a bit and rested my shoulders. I looked down at the floor and then back up, "Well.. I'll look at my schedule.."

"Thanks," she gave me a sweet smile before turning back to her locker.

I turned around and rolled my eyes. I placed my skateboard on the floor and started riding through the halls.

As I rode, I passed Beck, the egoistic varsity jock who can't control his anger. He raised his eyebrows and smirked at me.

"Hey, Sophmore turd," he yelled after me.
