The next morning~
I walked into the kitchen with messy bed hair, no shirt, and just sweats.
"Morning Logan," Charlotte turned around from her cooking and smiled at me.
I ran my fingers through my hair and sat down at the kitchen table with Lena. She was still in pajamas. She crossed her arms and rested her head down. I looked at the digital clock that was on the stove. It was 6:14 am. I groaned.
"Morning, Charlotte," I responded with a tired, hoarse voice. I rubbed my eyes and yawned.
"Breakfast is almost finished, don't worry," she responded.
Lena raised her head up and saw me. She rested her chin on her arms. She had dark circles under her eyes and her natural, curly hair was a big mess. She looked so different without makeup and straight hair. It seemed like she didn't sleep at all.
"What are you looking at, dumbass?" she furrowed her eyebrows at me.
I rolled my eyes. It's too early for fighting right now. I just want to go back to sleep. School is in two hours and I might just collapse.
"An ugly orgre, apparently," my eyebrows raised slighty and I pursed my lips.
She scoffed and put her head back down. Her morning voice muffled into her arms, "Shut the fuck up, turd."
I smirked. I won.
"Elena Gomez! Watch your mouth at the kitchen table," Charlotte frowned and brought over a big plate filled with bacon and eggs. It smelled delicious.
Lena groaned. You know when Charlotte is getting serious when she starts calling you by your full name. She may seem like the perfect house mom, but never get on her bad side.
I smirked.
Lena sat up straight and saw my smirk, "Wipe that stupid grin off your face. You look stupid."
"ELENA," Charlotte raised her voice a bit higher, "Don't talk to your brother like that."
Lena jerked her head back and glared at her mother, "My 'brother'? Really? Are you fucking serious?" She stood up in her seat.
