Will found himself alone in The Raven Cabin. Silas had ben gone for hours, and he was bored out of his mind. Finally though, Silas walked through the door, and plopped down on the couch next to him.
"Silaaaaas...where have you been?" Will whined, he liked to be annoying when he wasn't getting attention.
Will smiled as Silas scoffed, said "None of your business, sunshine."
"Well, anyways, the others are having a party at The Cottontail Cabin tonight...they have beer, and vodka, and tequila--"
"Stop naming alcohol, I'm going because you were going to make me go even if I didn't want to." Silas laughed, a genuine laugh that made Will's heart race and tug to be out of his ribcage.
"O-okay." Will cleared his throat "It's at 10:00 tonight...not really formal so wear what you want."
Silas nodded, and took out his charcoal and sketchpad. Will couldn't help but be drawn in the the strokes of black the boy made on the paper. Will almost didn't notice when they started making an image, because he was so wrapped up in the process. When he blinked himself up though, he realized that Silas had made beautiful farm, with a picket fence and some chickens.
"Where is that?" Will found himself asking on instinct
"Childhood home of sorts."
"Nice looking."
"You don't even know, this isn't as pretty as it really was."
Will cocked his head, curiously asking. "If it was really that beautiful, why don't you talk about it- or y'know, have pictures up?"
Silas shook his head. "Not all pretty places have a pretty story to tell."
He gave a sigh, almost dismissively. "Right, I have to take a shower." He said, before getting up and leaving.
Will watched, perplexed, but of course he couldn't push it more. He fell back on the couch, thinking as he pulled up the song "Take on me" by A-ha, and started playing it on his speaker.
The time passed quickly, and before both of them knew it, it was 10:00. Silas came out of his room wearing a band tee, black ripped jeans, a black and dark grey flannel, chains and rings all over, and combat boots. Will- in his simple T-shirt and jeans- couldn't stop himself from staring.
"What? Too much?" Silas asked, fidgeting with his rings.
"N-no...it's....you're....what the fuck is wrong with me, yeah you look great." Wilbur stuttered out, trying to get a hold of himself.
"Okay, ready?" Silas asked, pulling a cigarettes seemingly out of thin air- like seriously wtf dude?? -and lighting it.
"Yeah, you?" Will asked back, teasingly.
"Fuck yeah, idiot." Silas smiled, chuckling and taking a drag of cigarette. Will coughed, he hated the smell of cigarette. He walked outside, both because they should likely get going but also because he hoped outside would take away the smell. His dad used to smoke, and his dad...No, Wilbur those are bad thoughts.
Will smiled as Silas walked out with him, though he did glare at the cigarette as if it was hurting him personally, which it was.
"Not a fan of smoke?" Silas asked, as they started walking.
"Hell no, dad used to smoke...that shit is so bad for you, y'know?"
Silas smirked, that beautiful row of teeth that could lure anyone in.
"Yeah, I know, I just choose not to care."
Will shook his head, laughing.
"You're a dumbass, watch, it'll catch up with you." Even as he said it he knew he wished that would never happen, he liked Silas.
Silas rolled his eyes and they kept walking in peace until the music was booming into their ears, Welcome to the Party.
