After receiving Key's call from the live broadcast Jaejin ate and got ready for bed, but he could only think about one thing. Or rather one person - Jonghyun. Did Jonghyun really like him? Or did he just say it for the program? Did he mean just as friends? Because that's definitely not what Jaejin meant.

Ever since he visited SHINee's dorm with Key and met Jonghyun, he had developed a crush on the older man. A silly one - but still one that made his heart race when they were in the same room and forget about all of the women he had been seeing. And hearing him say that he liked Jaejin back sent his brain into overdrive... even though it was probably just a joke for the show... and Jonghyun probably never even considered the possibility of liking each other as more than friends.

He just couldn't help but think about all of the possibilities. Every time he met Jonghyun he fell deeper into the warm and kind man's charms. He felt different about him to his other friends. He would make fun of Hongki for being short with the other members, but Jonghyun's even shorter height just made him cute. He felt blinded by affection, like this man's flaws just turned into another charm.

He felt like he was beginning to go mad as he tossed and turned in bed, but however he moved he couldn't shake off the thoughts of Jonghyun. Suddenly his phone began to ring, and he leapt up at the thought of a distraction from his own thoughts. Tossing the covers off, he grabbed his flip phone which rested on his bedside table. It was an unknown caller which usually meant a crazy fan had managed to track down his personal number, but today Jaejin just decided to answer it anyway.

"Is this Jaejin? Key gave me your number after the shooting." said a familiar voice from the other end: the man that had kept him awake all this time, Kim Jonghyun.
