(Yuichiro's point of view)
The moment we got home after a long day of woodwork, Muichiro and I both noticed a spear and bow leaning against the outside wall of our house. "What in the world are that spear and bow doing here?", I thought. We then went into the house to see a young woman sitting by the dining table cooking some fish for dinner. Whilst doing this, the young woman noticed us and turned her head, showing us she wasn't a human. "Was it you who brought those fish here?", I asked. "Yes. I grew up living on a mountain, so spear fishing in a mountaintop river during the daytime is nothing new to me.", she replied before putting the cooked fish onto some thin wooden sticks. "Those fish smell really good!", Muichiro said in a excited tone. "Miss, just what is your name?", I asked her. "Miya Kamado.", she responded. "You aren't a human, so how in the world can you even handle eating food?", I asked. "Even though I'm currently a demon, I would much rather continue eating food than resorting to flesh.", she replied before handing us two of the thin wooden sticks. We sat down in front of the table on either side of her and began eating the cooked fish. "Before I forget myself, what are your names?", she asked us. "Yuichiro and Muichiro Tokito.", we replied. "What in the world happened to your parents?", Miya asked us once we finished dinner. "They both died last year.", I replied after getting up from the wooden floor. I then headed outside to check on the flowers Muichiro had put around the graves of our parents yesterday morning. "Mother. Father. I promise you both I will do everything I can to help out Muichiro and look after him.", I thought while kneeling down in front of them.
