She buys you a strawberry cake and prepares cabbage for lunch. The food tastes like you are eating pain addition substances. It doesn't taste like food. Your mum tries to smile and all to make you happy on your birthday.
She takes off her coat, and you realize that she is pregnant and you are homeless and have zero properties.
What you remember is that the weather was very uncommon. The air was suffocating, and everything you found yourself alone, you only cried. You blame yourself for everything
This is by far the worst birthday.
You want it to end. And perhaps all to end.
At night you are sleeping with your mum she is cuddling you. And you hear her cry in silent. What's more torture to a 9 years old girl being homeless and having your mum cry. It saddens everyone to witness their pregnant mother cry. You think and regret the pain you caused her.
You wish you never existed. You feel like you are in a very small room with low oxygen level. Like your heart got ripped from your chest. You don't like the song that your neighbors played on your birthday.
For some reason it's stuck in you head verytime you hear it you remember the flames and your mothers cry. Same as eating strawberry cake or cabbage and more you don't like your birthday anymore.
