Aunt Jessica decides to house you and your sister for that day. It all seems to be a bit calm your mother is getting informed of what happened on a call. She is told that her cottage burned to the ground with nothing taken. And then the question is asked who burned the house? How did it burn?
The house keeper says that she didn't go in the kitchen today hence didn't lit any fire today. You remember the candle in your room. Morgan says she put out the fire she lit in the kitchen as for the bed room you were the last person in there but she thinks you put it out too because you always do.
Everyone is looking at you but you don't remember anything. You don't know if you put it out or you just assumed you did and left. The loud gossip crosses the sitting room. People are gossiping to each other. 'How awful and careless us this girl? Some children are spoiled' there is an ache is your stomach. You leave the room and Morgan follows you. 'I don't believe the house keeper she must have eaten something from morning and where was she when it started burning'.
Some people think you did not burn the house and rumors spread that there are people who saw the house keeper with bags of blankets and clothing exiting the house. She must have taken what she wanted and set the cottage ablaze.
