Finally reaching our neighborhood and
turning to our street.
I backed up into the garage,
being careful to not hit anything.
Finn was still fast asleep in his seat, and well,
2 more hours till we had school...
At this point, the sun was at its mid-peak behind all those trees.
" Shit. "
I say to myself before switching the headlights off,
the garage door halfway closing, dimming the room.
I heard my phone ding, checking it.
It was a text from my mom, saying they were going home this Tuesday.
Tomorrow's Monday.
Guess they know Finn's home...
Man oh man is Finn gonna be in such trouble...
For all I know the worst is yet to come.

I couldn't really pinpoint on the way I felt. Everything felt so... Derealization...
He was next to me.
Past out and sleeping.
I don't know how or what to feel, it's just all so numb from all the stupid crying.
I check my phone clicking the next song...

My playlist playing, "Sign of the Times"
by Harry Styles
on the stereo.
I look to my right, wanting to wake him up but I couldn't bring myself to.
So I just sat there,
jumbling the messy thoughts in my head.
I was exhausted, so I,
" Finn? "
Shaking him to wake up.
" Finn, we're home. "
He stirs in the seat a few times.
I shook him a couple more times until I saw his eyes blink.
" Yeah, mkay. "
He mumbled sitting up from the passenger seat.
Rubbing his face to wake himself up.

Man, I really hope we're okay.
But it doesn't feel like it.

I turn my head only to find him already looking me.
Facing each other, and I felt like he felt the same.
His whole body facing me.
The look in his eyes were different.
They were sweet, but with a hint of worriedness.
Finn started leaning in closer to me, as did I.
He brought his hand up to the side of my face near my ear.
Pulling closer, and closer, and closer until our lips touched for the first time.
We haven't kissed for so long and felt right.
I feel myself smile into the kiss as we pull apart for a second for air.
No tongue, or anything sexual really.
It was wholesome...
So wholesome to the point where I felt my stomach start to feel weird.
As if I was having this feeling all, over, again.
I lift my hand to his head,
craving for this very kiss.
I hear him laugh a little as I lightly gripped onto his head full of curls.
Finn slowly pulls away, his thumb caressing the side of my cheek.
I couldn't help but smile,
remembering this fuzzy feeling only he'd ever give me.

" Y/n... "
He spoke.
" Yes? "
I answer doe eyed.
" I hope you- you truly know how sorry I am. "
His cold hand still on the side of my face.
" I know, Finn. "
I look down, forgiving the boy.
" I don't- I don't know how- I don't know how
I- I'm ever going to make it up to you. "
Finn stuttered his words, and I could tell
he was nervous.
In fact he was shivering.
Forgetting he's still pretty drunk, and out of it.
" You're freezing, Finn.
You okay? "
I ask ignoring his previous sentence as I pulled the sleeves of my hoodie to cover my whole hand.
Rubbing it against his cold and pale face.
" Mmmhh... "
Fluttering his eyes closed, he buries his face
into it.

" Le-Let's go inside? "
He mumbled but I managed to understand him.
" You sure? You know we can stay in the car
for now? No rush, Finn.
Pushing his hair back, being able to see the light reflect on his face.
How can he be so...
God, I don't even know the order, I just know I love his features.
" It's bright out, no? "
His face still resting in the palms of my hands.
" Yeah it is but- "
" I wanna sleep. With you. "
He paused a moment, a side smile appearing on his mouth before his piercing eyes shot up
to look at me.

" Okay. "
I nod with a tight-lipped smile.
With that, I got out of the driver's seat.
Walking over to open Finn's door, and yes.
He still laid there.
" I thought you said that we should go inside??? "
I question his words before
I tried getting him up.
Thank god he helped me a little, I groan,
leaning closer into his seat.
" Okay, give me your arm. "
Reaching out for him.
