Side Mission #1: Guarding the Girl with Red Eyes and More Part 1

Y/N POV

I wake up...not in my room. I sigh. I guess I am in another one of those simulations that put me in some form of training. In the beginning I was given the missions but as time went on and after becoming a master assassin, they would just throw me inside and have me figure out what the point was. I could be in here for days or even years but on the outside it could only be a few hours. Time flows differently here. I hear a knock on my door.

???: Master Sumeragi? Are you awake?

Y/N: I am.

???: Are you decent?

I put on my shirt and shorts. I guess that is probably a girl on the other side of the door and I do not want to cause any problems.

Y/N: Yes.

The door opens to reveal a maid with blonde hair with a ponytail on the side of her head. I blush a little since she is so beautiful. 

???: Lady Kaguya's schedule is the same as usual. You are to guard her with your life.

I need to gather more information about what is going on. Since this is a simulation and not real life it is common for them to just info dump but there are times where I am given none.

Y/N: I have seen to have had a bit of a head cold and I have forgotten a lot of things. Do you mind filling me in?

???: Not at all. I can explain anything while you eat your breakfast. Please wear the school uniform. I know that you have other gear, and it makes it a little difficult...

Y/N: I understand...

???: Please do not tell me you forgot me too. This could be quite serious. I will let Lady Kaguya know that you are unwell and cannot perform your duties today.

That obviously is something that I cannot let happen so I must get around this little situation. So far all I know is that I am a bodyguard for a Lady Kaguya. Like the girl from the moon? I've always liked that story.

Y/N: I am joking, Miss. It was just a joke.

???: It is not a funny joke, Y/N.

First names? I guess she and I must be close. Probably just a work relationship. I cannot keep asking questions like an idiot so I will just get her name from someone else. She leaves and I get dressed. A fancy uniform but I can hide my hidden blades on my person. I exit my room and see the maid from before waiting on me.

???: Please follow me. Lady Kaguya wants you to walk her car personally.

Oh? This is interesting. I will be seeing this "Lady Kaguya." I wonder what she will look like. Probably some older lady in some fancy getup. How wrong I was when we arrived at her bedroom.

???: Lady Kaguya, I have brought Y/N here for you.

Lady Kaguya: Thank you, Hayasaka. I will take his company from here. You are dismissed.

Hayasaka is the maid's name apparently. She gives my hand a small squeeze and leaves. I blush a little at small show of affection. The doors in front of me open and out walks "Lady Kaguya." I was wrong on who I was expecting. Instead of an older lady in some odd dress, out walked a young girl who can be no older than a highschooler, but she carries herself with the grace of royalty.

Lady Kaguya: Greetings, Y/N. It is always nice to see you.

First names? I guess I must have some serious relationship with the lady of the house. As the wheels are turning in my head, she can see me thinking.

Lady Kaguya: What are you thinking about? Let us walk and talk.

We slowly walk to the front door but with a quick enough pace since we are in a little bit of an hurry.
